I think the place was fairly decent. No issues, but I had to ask for extra handcloths and towels. But that was resolved quickly. Breakfast was fairly decent, too. People were also nice.

The Hyatt was very clean, and they had maid service everyday, which is becoming very rare. The free breakfast had lots of options, pancakes, bacon, bagels,toast, oatmeal, yogurt & then some. We stayed there 4 nights. They had a privacy screen on the window which was helpful because guests from the neighboring hotel could see into the room. Their building was about 30feet away. Even tho the room is small (most rooms in NYC are small unless you're paying the big bucks) it has everything we needed. Including an iron and board, fridge & safe. It's a great location just a few blocks from Broadway. The elevators were a bit slow. They have 4 elevators. But overall the stay was great.

Staff were very friendly. Room was clean but small and needing repair. A larger person would struggle in the bathroom/shower. The breakfast and breakfast room consisted nothing less than a pig trough. Very disappointing food options and dining area, very average.

Look elsewhere in NY better alternatives not 4*

Stayed for two nights in Hyatt. Overcrowded, room not suitable for number adults booked, broken to, broken shower door. Sofa bed not made regardless of 3 adult booking. Breakfast was a plus for NY but upon visiting not worthwhile as dangerous and overcrowded. Complained to manager on first day and they advised would review. Upon exit full deposit not returned as made up charge for water which wasnt signified or had. No response on the messages sent after 2 weeks so review left. Only positive about hotel was it had nice pillows. Will not return and disappointed with lack of service feedback upon compliant.
