Personally I didn’t like the area, although it’s walking distance from Times Square and the subway station; the room was tiny for a family of 5and the hotel it’s crowded; but the staff is super friendly and helpfull.

The property was okay. The rooms were on the smaller side. Not much room for luggage. There was no luggage stand in the room, so everything stayed on the floor. The elevators didn't seem to work properly. Sometimes the key pad wouldn't accept our card keys and did not allow us to select a floor. We had to exit the elevator and wait another 15 minutes for another one. It seemed like only 2 of the 4 elevators were working at any given time. There was a lot of waiting, squeezing into a packed elevator, or letting them go and waiting for another one that had more space. It got to the point where we had to take the stairs from the 15th floor because every elevator was full by the time it came down to us. On our last night in the room, there was no hot water which lasted until the following morning. And when we turned on the faucets that morning, the water was discolored and yellowish-brown. It appeared to have some substance embedded in it which deterred us from thinking it was safe to drink. We were checking out that day but I didn't allow my daughters to shower in that water. It was a horrifying experience and reminded me of the mysterious death of a young woman at the Hotel Cecil in LA, where the woman was found in the water tanks and resulted in the water being discolored.
