I had reservations about arriving having read some of the reviews online. However the queues when we arrived were short. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. The hotel is expensive but that’s the same with any NYC hotel. It was surprising to learn that you have to pay to store your bags on the last day if you have a late pick up for the airport. The location though is great and easy to walk to Time Square. Ask for a room on the highest floors and the noise levels are fairly low.

Cozy rooms, some quite small, but as a solo traveler I didn’t mind that, I like the character of the hotel overall.Small but significant thing; I really appreciated the strong water pressure in the shower (a rarity) and fairly deep tub.

The location is great, within walking distance to nice transportation, hub, restaurants, etc. The beds were too soft to our taste, but it might please others. Linen may not have been changed between customers. Good water pressure.

We booked our room 3 weeks before, when We arrived they told us that they don’t have the room we booked because hotel was very crowded, We paid for a king bed room and they gave us a queen bed room no fare for us, they said they can give us free breakfast when the breakfast was free after we realized

My only (small) complaint is the heating/thermostat. Room temperature was 68 when I checked in, set thermostat for 74 degrees. By checkout day three days later, room temperature had reached only 70 degrees.
