Friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable suite. Easy walking distance to Broadway theaters, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Central Park, and many restaurants. Bed pillows were rather soft for my taste, but that is a matter of personal preference. We returned from an event around 3:00 AM and they had security personnel asking to see our room keys ... I appreciated that they were cautious on behalf of their guests.

Amazing Hospitality Beautiful Room

Extremely impressed with this hotel. From the front desk staff and quick check in, valet attentiveness, concierge, and bell hop we felt so well taken care of. As if we were just swept up into our room upon our arrival. Then when we got to our room we were amazed at how clean it smelled and hoe big the room was. A full kitchenette, big bathroom with separate toilet area, tv in the mirror was a nice touch, couch and tv area, a big welcomeing chair, desk, and the bed was so comfortable and just looked like it was waiting for a princess. Check out was just as smooth and friendly. Location was also perfect. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Perfetto nel cuore di Manhattan

I traveled with a friend and having two bathrooms was great. The sofa bed is also excellent. The only negative is the dirty windows on the outside, a real shame for the view of the panorama!

Good stop for Carnegie Hall

First the good: rooms were pretty big. Was not expecting a living room and separate bedroom. Two bathrooms. Clean, comfortable bed. Great location. The bad: overall rooms, Lobby, elevators in need of some TLC and upgrading. $500 hold for incidentals is ridiculous. This, of course, is not advertised when booking. We’ll see how fast that gets taken off my card. The weird: no drawer in my rooms remained closed! The floors must be sloped but every drawer slides open on its own.

Affordable, super convenient location to Central Park, shopping, museums, theaters, and restaurants. wonderful staff! Everyone tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Our first impression of the suite was great- 2 bathrooms, a sitting area, two closets, 2 TVs (which we never used). A lot of comfortable space for only 2 people. We unpacked and settled in but then realized that the AC wasn’t working. Called down to the front desk and received a logical explanation that the building hadn’t switched over from heat to cool yet. It was mid-March and weather has been so cold, it made sense. It is an old building, which I think adds some charm but we couldn’t stay in the room. They immediately offered for us to look at another on a lower floor and it was perfect. They offered to bring a trolly and help us move there as well. The housekeeping staff was sweet and attentive. We were there for 3 days. Both of the elevators worked when we got there but only one worked at check out the next day. Recommend not waiting until 11 to check out. Get out an hour early or so. They stored our bags so we were able to walk around more the last day. Recommend at least checking out the beautiful club on the 26th floor. So a few glitches, beyond the control of the immediate staff and square on the owners. If you are patient and ask for a room with working AC, you’ll enjoy your stay here immensely. I would stay again.

Great location

Location of the hotel was great and the staff were wonderful. Only criticism is that we booked the ‘City Lights’ room, which was on the 2nd floor and overlooked the HVAC system on the roof of the 1st floor.
