I was not as satisfied this stay because there were too many little things that made it so. I should have upgraded to a larger room. The bathroom door was on backwards it opened the wrong way toward the exit door instead of toward the room. The bathroom door also made an annoying noise when trying to close or open the door because it did not fit the door frame. The tub was clogged so the water naturally filled up at feet while taking a shower. UGH! The overhead shower fixture was not properly placed and it was not usable because the plumbing fixture to the wall was too short. The head was tilted and dripped too close to the wall The handheld shower fixture was better. There was one hard chair at the desk no other seating available to lounge. There was no closet only a cubby to hang coats and store luggage for 2 The heat/ac unit so loud each time it ran I could not sleep all night unless I shut it off. But I find every room so far that we’ve stayed in just can’t seem to fix the problem. These units should be whisper quiet. Room 218 should not be reserved for use for hotel guests until these items are fixed. Sounds like a lot of complaints for one room but the Sonesta hotels tout quality and that’s what I expect in every detail in every room.
