One of a kind hotel

In a word, this hotel is wierd. Decor is industrial loft meets goth. HVAC is poorly designed and ineffective. Beds are like marshmallows and if you like that feeling, they are great. Walls are paper thin and neighboring room parties went until 2am. Highway noise and all night motorcycles completed the experience. Strangers in the elevators commented on the hotel feeling wierd or bizarre or strange. It is unlike any Hyatt you have ever visited. Yet, it seems strangely popular.

This is a fun property for a friends or couples getaway in the summer because the pool and bar service were on point…walkable to a cute little town with bars and restaurants. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Staff is super friendly!

My husband and I finally got a night away from the kids, however the night turn into a complete disaster when we could not sleep at 12am because of loud kids and people in the hallway! Someone was ridding a scooter going up and down the hallway while the adults were extremely loud. We were then awakened to no AC at 3am. My husband and I tried all we could to get it working but to no avail. We had to go downstairs to get our rooms switched to another room facing the cemetery. Apparently this happens often at Nyack Hotel! This room smelled like a smoking room and it was not very well kept. For such an expensive hotel this was such a let down! I do not recommend this hotel!

My stay was great check in was literally 2 minutes. The room was nice and clean. I just wish they had an actual mini fridge and microwave in the room. But the place was quiet and many food options near by. Staff was nice also

As someone who has used this hotel a bunch, it has me rethinking returning, especially on the weekends. There is ZERO control of kids at what is an already a small pool. Example? Young kids jumping into the hot tub. Not enough pool chairs and some were completely broken. Service, though friendly, made frequent mistakes and had to be asked several times for items…from the poolside service to pillows requested over three times that were necessary to help Medical issue. It’s a shame because the hotel has a nice decor to it.
