This place is garbage. Moldy walls. Broken windows. Broken sink. THE TOILET DOES NOT EVEN WORK. Party was in room above us spilled beer and made giant hole in roof. No sympathy from the place. I was there 5 minutes and lost out on 1000 dollars
The property was dirty and noisy, but it was across the street from the boardwalk, so the location was good. If the price had been more reasonable, I would have given the stay a better rating.
*The dirtiness was not due to staff neglect. It was more of a property neglect problem.
Staff was friendly, location was great and price was reasonable. Too bad the fleas that accompanied it outweighed the good. All of us were covered in bites and we ended up leaving early due to being absolutely miserable. We had fleas jumping off our bags that were on the floor, on the beds, crawling up our shoes and legs while walking around the room. They ended up in vehicles and in our house.
Room did not get cleaned once, when asked they said we had to talk to the maids, Every day had to ask for clean towels and no one ever came to her the old ones, parking was great, food right next door and across the street, boardwalk across the street,
This motel is one soft plywood board away from a lawsuit -safety issues all around. Example -the floorboards of the hallways are rotting soft wood and sink when stepped on - on all levels.
The comforters are from the 1970's and paper thin with cigarette burn marks in them, The bath towels are the size of hand towels (even my 6 year old asked for a bigger towel). No blow dryer, musty and 420 smells abound. I'd suggest bringing your own sheets - didn't see any bedbugs but I wouldn't put it past this motel either. "Janky" was the word that came to mind. Hasn't been upkept since the 70s. Only advantage is the proximity to the boardwalk, if that's what you're looking for.
Paid $65 for early check in and $25 for a second key, no coffee pot or ice machine. Couldnt get refunded because office wasnt open at 8am when i was leaving but it was a good location
I had a great stay there. Yeah it's a little outdated and run down. Probably could use a deep cleaning But I had clean towels and clean sheets and I didn't see any bed bugs. you're not going to find anything else at that price point that has you right downtown. I parked my car the first day I got there and didn't have to drive it till the day I left. Everything is walkable from the motel
The front desk overcharged us $60 for our service dog. The parking lot had nothing handicapped accessible. We had to get our disabled selves and our dog up to the 3rd floor. The room service did not empty the trash or provide clean towels. There was significant black mold/mildew in the ceiling of the shower. There was no phone in the room and the TV did not work for the first day and a half. And worst of all we ended up with bed bugs. I would absolutely never stay there again.
