Nice property but very limited on towels. Hotel provide no robe to wear. Get no discount for spa service so do not be fool by the name.

Its very noisy because the do construction in the hotel and i couldn't sleep well, i complained to the manager but still not stop the drilling without given notice or any apologize.

The hotel was amazing! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially ladies at the restaurant and cleaning staff. The breakfast was good, the room was clean. Overall had a great stay. The only problem is- Orbitz says guests can use the gym and spa facilities which is not true, you have to pay around $29 for a gym/spa visit each time you would like to go.

Completely dissapointed, bad management. It was impossible to stay in the room all day due to restoration works. Disappointing management, because unwilling to solve the issue. I have paid for being in vacation and rest and I have ended up in a nigtmare where was impossible to stay in the room and relax. I have spoken several timex with the management and they have been uncapable to find any solution. Overpriced the early check-in; swimming pool available under payment of extra. This hotel is a nightmare never again, they have lost a costumer.

Hotel was good. Execelent location. Personel where very helpful. Good food in the restaurant with reasonable prices. The first floor of the building is hotel, the rest is apartments for politicians and wealthy people. My room was a little outdated and had some renovation in the floor above me. The hammering and drilling started 9-10 and kept going for hours. Had no wifi conection at all in my room. My friend did not have these problems with his room. The breakfast was sparse.

Insane Layout for Hotel Part

This is primarily a spa...and everything is geared to serve spa customers. The hotel on the other hand, it difficult to navigate to. In order to get to your rooms, you have to walk through the restaurant. Only there are two restaurants, one for the hotel and one for the spa. This is not readily apparent to a first time customer. Once you have found your room, you realize there is a set of elevators bear them. They go down to a second lobby...that does not serve the hotel! You cannot check out there, and the staff speaks very little English. Once again, confusing for a first-time customer. Apart from this, the hotel is gorgeous, the rooms spacious and comfortable. the decor is tasteful and current and the furniture is all new or in excellent condition. The staff that I dealt with prior to my arrival was wonderful. She emailed me several times and accommodated my pickup from the airport after it has been delayed, then canceled, then six hours later re-scheduled.

Not a 4-star hotel

When we came to check in at 2:30AM the room was not ready so we had to wait 20min for the room to be prepared. We ordered a twin-bed room and it was at best awfull. The A/C did not work, the beds were 2x70cm with no support, so you would just fall out of the bed. The closet was ruined, the in-room safe was not bolted, it was not possible to lock the bathroom door.. This is just what i remember from the top of my head. After the first night with no sleep we talked to the reception (a man), and he said he could have someone look at the AC, and that was it. I called Hotels.com who cancelled the rest of the booking (supposed to stay there 4 nights), but we still had to pay for the first night. Since I was tired and just wanted to get out of there I accepted it. When we checked out there was a girl at the reception that understood we were really not satified and wanted to make ammence, but then we had booked a new room in a decent hotel.

A nice place to stay

A nice hotel very close to Arkadia, a 5 min walking distance. Clean room and very nice stuff, friendly and always wants to help. The breakfast is good, but not a lot of choices. The few problems we had was: The bed is double mattress instead of a king one, so it makes it not so comfortable. Sometimes there was a bad smell from the bathroom ??? The SPA is in a additional pay, 800 grn for a person (for a one entrance) so u can come and go. Also this price isn't including the Gym... But i have to say that it's a beautiful spa and the massages are in a reasonable price. Overall a nice place in a very good location at a reasonable price :-)

Misleading

This was my 5th trip to Ukraine and ironically this hotel was on paper the classiest and most highly rated hotel that I stayed at in my five trips, but, turned out to be the biggest disappointment in all my trips. I want to take my hat off to the Hotel's two employees at the front desk, Olga and Irina. Its because of them I'm giving the hotel an overall rating of "OK". The Ark Palace & Spa web page doesn't mention that the Spa is a private contracting entity and is separate from the Hotel, in other words you must pay separately for this feature. I only used it once because the staff at this Spa was very cold and unfriendly especially the male attendant in the men's locker room on the morning of Tuesday May, 9th at approximately 9:30. I understand their was a language barrier, but his behavior was totally uncalled for, he screamed and yelled at me when I simply asked about locker room procedures and wristband information. When I asked about the wristband, he grabbed my wrist and pointed to the number printed on it and continued to scream and point at the lockers when I realized the number on the wristband was my designated locker. The women in the spa facilities weren't much better, very very cold and distant. The hotel staff with the exception of Olga and Irina at the front desk were very standoffish and impersonal. I won't be back !!

Decent hotel with own restaurant, very tasty. Good location close to Arkadia and nice shopping mall Sady Pobedi. Our 'luxury' suite was clean and cosy, with balcony. Shower and toilet were tiny though... Friendly staff, helpful.
