This property was surrounded by homeless people and what appeared to be drug dealers on every corner. Completely unsafe surroundings-when I pulled in the parking lot I chose to waste my money and go stay somewhere else.

The area surrounding the hotel is quite sketchy. Lots of people asked me for money when I went into the convenience store next door. Definitely do NOT leave anything in your car.

Comfort Inn and Suites at Bricktown was in such a terrible area that it had a security gate surrounding the parking lot that it was somewhat protected. Homeless people were all around the property. When we booked the property, we thought we booked the I 40 location. The map directions took us to that location where we were informed that they didn’t have our reservation. When we got to the Bricktown location, it looked nothing like the picture on the Expedia site. Because of the fence we could not park our car which was towing our boat behind it. We were unable to stay there, but even if the parking lot had had a place for the boat, we would’ve been afraid to stay there. It looked completely unsafe. This site should be taken from Expedia list of acceptable hotels. We are pursuing getting our money back. We went to the I 40 location and paid for another room. It was a lovely location and we spent the night there.

The shower was very nice and new, drained well and had good water pressure. We were grossed out by the brown splatters (hopefully coffee) on the walls on the bathroom and near the front door. The furniture seemed to large for the room, but it worked. The pool area seems to be an active safety hazard. The cement ground around the pool has a few layers of paint on it which make the floor extremely slippery. Usually pools have a ground with texture (like sand in the paint or raw concrete) to avoid slips. If someone were to slip, there is no camera which seems like another possible liability. This hotel was extremely busy during our stay. Parking lot is small with small spaces.
