The rooms smelled musty and the refrigerator in one of the two rooms I had was filthy as if it hadn't ever been cleaned. The breakfast did not offer much but was okay. The location, though, was excellent. It was an easy walk to Universal.

I would not recommend this hotel. For the price, the room is very dated and worn, has a terrible musty smell, and the “free breakfast” was quite sad. Morning coffee is very important to me and the coffee at the hotel is supplied from an electronic machine that looks like it hasn’t been cleaned since it was installed 20+ years ago. The shuttle to Universal only runs at 7:55am and 5:45pm. So you will be walking or driving unless you want those 2 times. Stay elsewhere.

This place is the worst, first the shower is so small the tub you can’t even have a bath unless you are a child with minimal water. You have to get a new room key every time you leave the key gets deactivated. If you are a smoker you will be good, the smell of smoke is not for me. The breakfast was awful, food running out no service. I call down for assistance no one will answer the phone. I wouldn’t stay here if it was free don’t waste your money.

First night the bottle of body wash was empty and asked front desk to refill it. Till second night it was still empty even there was the house cleaning service in the day. Asked again, then front desk did it and said you didn’t told me. Third night the toilet was clogged and called the front desk at least 6 times with no answer. I have to go to front desk and he gave me a tool to do it by myself. Bad experience! No stay here again! The hotel is old and found several bugs, , , the restroom is high humidity, , ,

Old but clean property, closer to universal studios theme parks. Free parking and also has shuttle to universal studios once at 7:50 am and around 5 pm back from there. Breakfast could be better as they served the same menu all 4 days we stayed,even during the Christmas day they didn't try to introduce anything new
