It’s alright

This hotel used to be our go to. It wasn’t necessarily the cleanest, but it definitely met standards. This last stay, the toilet didn’t work correctly, the room smelled musty, the tub clearly needed to be replaced- didn’t use it because of how it lookes and the elevators are always an issue. I hope you aren’t in a rush because the one set of elevators haven’t worked in years and the other set is on its last leg. Hopefully it forces them to do some updates as well.

This property is a lower mid-tier type hotel in acceptable condition. The check-in was quick and pleasant and the room had everything we needed for a single night. The breakfast, consisting largely of bread, waffles, yogurt and various drinks, was akin to other properties of this hotel tier. The location of this property was excellent, which made for easy access to Seaworld and its water park. For its location and price point, we would consider this hotel in the future.

90 Second Walk to Late Night Dining and Music

It's an excellent location, across the street from vibrant late-night dining and music, and a 2-minute Uber ride to the OC Convention Center.... The negatives are the elevators are slow and the Breakfast buffet is true Continental, only bread and fruit, no protein... The room was pretty clean for the price point. I would return, but I found myself taking the stairs instead of waiting for the elevator, and I was expecting eggs and a breakfast meat on the breakfast buffet.

I enjoyed the property,the beds pools and breakfast were very good. Instead of having carpet in the dining room area. I would go with vinyl flooring. The carpet shows alot of older stains.

Hotel was rundown. Elevators were not working properly, no room cleaning although I was there for two nights. Breakfast was mediocre. But the location was good. I was told they were changing management and had fired all of the general leaders at this location and it really showed. On the plus side the bed was very comfortable.

the place was nice i did not like how we had to make our own breakfast that was included in our stay.we were also supposed to have a mini fridge in our room instead we had to use a cooler for my sons milk.I also was made to give a refundable deposit when i checked in and it has been almost a week since our stay and i still have not received that money back.upon arriving i spoke to 3 different workers and they each told me something different about check in.when we got there we were told by the 3rd person that we could not check in but 2 other people said that we could when we got there ,that they would have our rooms open for us.overall there is no communication with the employees there and that deeply impacted our stay

Don’t stay here.

The hotel was filthy. The floors were stained and the hallways smelled. The room was ok but the lampshades were stained the toilet in the bathroom didn’t always flush properly took a couple tries. There is no fridge or micro in the rooms. The breakfast was bagels toast and yogurt and the coffee was always empty.

I wish I had known before that we needed to request everyday to get clean towels or for the room to be cleaned. The staff in front was very knowledgeable with that afterwards and was able to assist in giving us extra towels

Property long past its refit date. Carpets disgusting. Many fixtures & fittings broken. Location excellent. Staff generally friendly. Melissa on reception is the highlight of this hotel. I’ve stayed at several hotels on I-Drive and there are better options. Shame because it could be a lovely hotel again if La Quinta invested in it.

Bed was comfortable and room was clean. It had a continental breakfast but the up keep was great on their end for replenishing the food and drinks. The jacuzzi was out of service and one of the elevators and the one that was working took forever so we just took the stairs no big deal. Other than that all the staff was very nice and friendly. I would stay here again as it was across the street from icon park and close to a lot of restaurants we didn’t have to rent a car as that is how close everything was.

Loved our stay at this hotel. So conveniently located with free parking and free breakfast. Lots of dining options walkable from the hotel. Right across the street from the ICON Park. Would definitely stay here again

You get what you pay for.

You get what you pay for. Broken elevator, limited breakfast, just overall dingy. Kim at the front desk was amazing and super helpful. But overall not terrible but not 5 star by any means.
