The staff gave us wrong room information, so we walked around forever trying to find the tower and room. Once we found it, key didn’t work, so had to go back to desk. It was an awful check in experience.

The reason we can’t give a very wrong review is the only slides our daughter could have gone on was closed. The fact they had slides for her age was a main reason we booked it. We had some other smaller things like we had no furniture on our balcony and we were misinformed which tower our room was in, but had we known the slides for her were going to be closed we would have stayed elsewhere. I did feed this back when asked on checkout and if I was the hotel I’d probably done something to demonstrate my understanding of this, even something small. They didn’t. The restaurants were good not great except the Japanese steakhouse which was solid.

Look past glitz and glam the 4 star rating is sham

The good. Check in went smoothly. When pool was open it was enjoyable and bar beside main pool was overpriced but good. The bad.once you got past the lobby! We Got to room and walked out on the balcony and there was no furniture, placed items in fridge and it wouldn’t drop below 55, and the room was muggy. Dropped temp down to 65 only blew more warm air. Tried to call front desk multiple times but no one would answer. Then decided to go to pool but it was closed for emergency maintenance. Finally spoke to a rep and she spoke very little English and could not understand issues and how to proceed. After 30 minutes of back and forth finally transferred to someone else. She said they will send maintenance up and furniture is not guaranteed on balcony. Well maintenance never showed two days I was there but I did pull fridge out and found dust covered condenser. CLeaned and worked better after. Room however never really cooled off. In the bathrooms we found peeling paint on walls and mold growth under it. The tub had not been scrubbed in quite some time and carpets were stained. There was also a very musty smell present. Unfortunately, the beds were very uncomfortable too. We travel all over US during summer and this was absolutely the worst experience we have had.

The Hotel was great, but Pool Area Overcrowding & Zero Chairs The resort simply doesn’t have enough loungers or umbrellas to match guest volume—and the “towel‑saving” phenomenon begins early. By 9 a.m., most chairs were marked, yet often remained unused for hours. I arrived at the pool at 8:30 a.m. and still found only a couple of scattered seats left—most of them blocked by unattended towels.

We booked this resort specifically for the water slides, as it seemed like a great place for our young son. Just a couple of days before our trip, we received an email informing us that half of the water slides were closed. At that point, it was too late to change our plans, but had we known sooner, we would’ve definitely chosen a different property. Unfortunately, the disappointment didn’t end there. The staff were generally unhelpful and, at times, downright rude. We didn’t feel particularly welcomed or valued as guests. The restaurants were also a letdown—limited options, long waits, and food that just wasn’t good. My friend and ended up getting good poisoning. As for the room, it was not very clean. There were visible stains, and it felt like the bare minimum had been done between guests. Not what you’d expect for the price point. All in all, this was not the family-friendly, relaxing vacation we were hoping for. Would not recommend, and we won’t be returning.
