Dirty hotel

This hotel is overall in poor condition and the rooms were dirty. We got in too late to find another hotel. I ended up sleeping fully dressed.

Hotel is close to the airport but condition of the room we were assigned was terrible. The door would not close properly, bedding were stained and dirty, mattress had a big dent in it you can feel the coils right through it, paint peeling off the walls. Not a great experience, checked out after 15 minutes in the room.

Please be aware, do not give this hotel your credit card information. They'll tell you that you cant charge any snacks from their little store to your room but pay immediately. If you dont pay cash or debit be aware, they'll try & charge you card multiple times. Visa showed they tried to put additional charges of over $100 for absolutely nothing, thank goodness visa declined them, however I was still double charged! Be safe out there, apparently scammers work at hotels too.

The lobby was a clean, friendly desk attendant. I told them about the issue i had getting to the hotel. And the different numbers i call only to get people that were not on the site. She explained to me that there are 4 other Quinta hotels in the area. She right away knew where i had called. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

You truly get what you pay for with this hotel. We stood 4 nights to go to Universal parks. I liked that it was near the airport and about 15 minutes away from Universal. The door to our room 317 looks like it's been broken into cause there was a huge gap right where the lock is and if you wanted, you can see into our room where the beds are situated. There were bugs in the room which I later found out were ghost ants or sugar ants. They were on the AC, table, TV area and the nightstand between the beds. I'm convinced that the AC wasn't working properly either. The elevator is kinda scary and old, and made a loud thud every time it stopped at our floor. The pool area was horrendous. The pool itself was dirty and the chairs were rusted, wobbly and tossed all over the place. It seems like nobody cleans the pool area because there were Red Bull cans left behind and someone's clothing on the ground. There was what looked like a crime scene area in the corner, which was probably the hot tub that was closed off with tape and wood. I should've took a pic. Never went back to the pool area for the rest of our stay. In fact we ended up going to a water park instead. I liked that there was always coffee in the lobby throughout the day and the beds were firm which is how I like it. We didn't experience the breakfast since it ends at 9. Most hotels end at 10 or even later on the weekends. Will not stay here again.

Room was really gross. Sofa was so dirty carpet felt so dirty and sticky, what appeared to be mold or a prior leak on bathroom ceiling, no toiletries in room at all. Elevators were disgusting and dirty, the doors to the rooms were also very dirty as well.

The room was clean and the bed was generally comfortable, which made for a decent stay. However, the hotel is in need of some renovations, especially with the elevators that could use a touch-up. When I asked the front desk about nearby shops, the information given was incorrect, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, an okay experience, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

The first room we were given smelled so musty there's no way we could have stayed in it. The young man at the front desk was very helpful. Very kind and immediately switched us to another room that smelt much better. We got there late so it went right to bed. We did not realize that the toilet wouldn't flush so by morning it was pretty full. Luckily we only stayed one night. Breakfast was good and staff was good

Close to the airport

Check-in was quick and easy! Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was basically a room. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was dated. Toilet had rings in it. Tub had spots in it and the shower head was partially blocked by calcium buildup.
