Not a 5 star. Location and views are good but that’s pretty much it. Check in was long, room was not ready on time, room smelled very musty, mold in the shower, housekeeping services were not great. The hotel is very elegant and beautiful however it is a bit far from the shopping areas (Dotonbori) so you must take the train or call a taxi.

I've stayed at Osaka Miyako Marriott each time I stay in Osaka. The hotel has wonderful staff, a good breakfast buffet the room is clean and refrigerator well stocked. I usually use the massage service which they now have gone to call in, or online appointments. Their massage therapists are excellent.

The hotel is stunning. The room was gorgeous and the service staff was so polite and kind. I would have given it perfect score except for the parking and transportation access We took the taxi from the station to the hotel. There were no help at the place we were dropped off which is at the parking area or taxi area. When we checked out, there was minimal help with getting a taxi to go to the airport with our luggages. We took our luggage down to level 1 and qeued at the taxi line in the streets. Maybe it was a language issue but we did not have any problem with our other hotels in Japan for this trip The dining experience was top notched and the room service was great including the breakfast area. I was disappointed at the glitches but it was a bit annoying as I expect more for this level of Marriott establishment. The service needs a bit more work on that level but everyone was kind and nice, trying their best but I can see that the workflow has some barriers.
