Booked two night stay here. Hotel advertises parking on site. Due to me having an “oversized” vehicle, a base model F150, I was told I had to park in their “oversized” area. Upon entry I found 7 spots on P1 for parking all occupied. 5 out of 7 vehicles not classified as oversized in accordance with signage posted around the area. There also was no way to proceed to any other area as the height limit bar was 6”1. Trying to turn around in this confined alley was brutal. An area where snow clearing attachments were placed was the only option. I had checked into the hotel in order to get my parking pass. I did not go to the room and made parking the vehicle the first priority. Once I couldn’t fit in the parking I returned to the front of the hotel from the parking and went to the desk. I explained that I was unable to park. The desk agent suggested I use off site parking at a mall and walk back and forth.for me this wasn’t an option so I told them I would like to cancel my room and find alternate accommodations with parking on site. Because I booked on Expedia I was told I couldn’t be refunded for the first night for which I had checked in. They mentioned they would refund the second night. Haven’t yet received this refund but am hopeful it will happen within a couple more business days. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for anyone driving “oversized” vehicles. The sign posted in the parking garage states smaller vehicles would be towed. That isn’t true. Poor experience
