we definitely did not expect a "W " hotel to be so dingy. as you walk in from the street, the first thing you notice is the darkness. are you in the right place? ! there is no one there to greet you! we had to figure out how to get to the reception area on our own! someone told us the reception area is on the 13th floor so we took the elevator up to Lobby but it was still dingy when we got up the walls ,the ceiling and the floors are all painted black !!! with some small lights around the wall and ceiling. The staff did not look like they care at all about customer service. Very dry and not welcoming. the place is out of the way and not close to the water. the only good thing is that the rooms were nice and appeared clean. The pool is very small and does not have a vibe.

My stay at W Panama was ok . I was expecting great service and modern rooms especially for it to be a 5 star hotel . The room definitely needs updating you could see scratches and scuff marks all over it the room . I had to call for them to clean my room and give extra towels and face towels . Linens on bed were not changed after 3 days according to their rule. I was disappointed with my stay . Panamá city was a great experience though if I go back I’ll return to the Sofitel legend which is were I stayed the 1st 3 nights . Also the rooms are not soundproof you can hear every noise from a person slamming a door , casual conversation and music from outside

1- phone in the room was not working. 2- bathroom was dirty with mold 3- service is not good 4- a/c unit in my room was not cooling 5- food at the restaurant and service was not good 6- the hotel layout is horrible 7- elevator is so slow 8 this place is overpriced I travel for work around the globe and rarely I complain but if you are in Panama for business or pleasure there are many better places to stay
