Not worth the amount that we pay. Limited transportation from Montreal to Quebec. Better to book a tour package from Viator/expedia to visit and go back on the same day to save money and time. We do not much find much to stay here in quebec.

It’s a beautiful place to stay. The hotel is jaw dropping beautiful. The only complaint I would have is you had to pay for the guided tour of the hotel. I felt that should have been included for people staying at the hotel especially for how expensive it is to stay there

Elegance at its best, however after a few issues we were able to enjoy our 3 day stay! Our first room had scaffolding and we could not see out of the window when we were told we had a Riverview! The TV wasn’t working and there were cobwebs hanging over our bed when we returned to our room the first day our room was not cleaned at 5 o’clock. The management team was very gracious and made sure we were satisfied!

Never again the Gold Rooms

The room was everything I expected. We pay extra for the Gold Room lounge. We were most unhappy. Service was either excellent or you had to stand on your chair and wave to get service. The worst was the food. Previously, there were warming trays with excellent food promoting the cuisine of Quebec. Now, breakfast reminded me of staying at a Holiday Inn. Didn’t stay over lunch, but in the evening, more disappointment. I could hardly believe I couldn’t get a coffee. Mind you, I overheard the staff offering to get coffee for another customer. So, I didn’t count, I guess. The pastries were less than inspiring. So, I will never stay in the gold rooms again.

World Class Elegance with Old World Charm

After traveling the world, this hotel is most magnificent place I have ever stayed. From the outside, the hotel sits in the heart of Quebec City with stunning views night or day. There's no wonder it's the most photographed hotel in the world. The staff are warm and helpful. The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Charming boutiques line the ground floor. The restaurants and breakfast were outstanding. For world class elegance with old world charm, Le Chateau Frontenac stands alone.

My lovely castle 🏰

Beautiful hotel, centrally located, outstanding comfort and concierge service. The staff is amazing starting with the bell man, front desk, room service, restaurant host, every body in this hotel makes you feel comfortable. The history and the majestic of this place is awesome. We look forward to return soon.

The Chateau de Frontenac is a well maintained, massive property rich in history with breathtaking architecture. The hotel has an impressive list of notable political figures and celebrities that have graced their hallways. Everyone from British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt (who planned D Day and left documents about the invasion here in the Rose Room) to Leonardo DiCaprio and Celine Dione. You can sign up for a hotel tour (noting that you will be charged $25 per person to take the tour even when paying a resort fee)? Seemed like something that should have been included for guests. Speaking of included activities, there was a whiskey tasting and a walking tour along with yoga all included with the resort fee. The walking tour was 2 hours and a great way to get outside and learn about the hotel and the city. The included whiskey tasting alternates between whiskey, beer or wine tasting. The room we stayed in was comfortable and well maintained but the bathroom was small (shower door would hit the shower head when opening- tight quarters). The bathroom included plenty of Le Labo Rose 31 soaps, shampoo, conditioner, and body cream. The luxury products smelled great and have a matching luxury price tag in the gift shop. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very beautiful city, you will feel like you’re in Europe. I’d like to return for the German winter market to see everything decorated for Christmas. Great massage at spa!

It's a bit much with the number of people, tours and general lack of sophistication. Felt like Disney or a cruise ship. Check in was very impersonal and no information on hotel etc. Honestly, just a lot of attitude. However, the bar and its staff are gems. Main gift shop is lovely. Room had a nice water view. Gym is too small/lacking for size of property It's more impressive from a distance than in person. Stay elsewhere and just enjoy it from afar and grab drinks at the bar!!!.

Everyone should stay at the Château Frontenac at least once. It's a grand and quirky hotel with a lot of history, charm and character. It dominates the QC skyline, and offers a unique experience. Locals refer to it as le château. As with most Fairmont Hotels, it's the staff and excellent service that visitors remember. Considering how busy the hotel is, this is remarkable and no easy endeavor, the Fairmont is up to the challenge. As with most old hotels, staying at the Frontenac is an adventure and guests should be prepared for the unexpected. My first room was lovely but dark, the one small window was off the main room by the closet. No problem, I called Royal Service and asked if another room was avaliable, and there was. My second room was sunny and spacious on the 7th floor looking out on the courtyard and lower rooftops. Day two, there was a minor flood in the room - no problem, I called Royal Service and exlpained the situation. They arranged for a room change later that day, my only request being if I could stay on an upper floor. My new room was on the 16th with river views, and I was upgraded to the gold club. My luggage was moved for me, and the concierge personally welcomed me. It was very very nice, and unexpected. In addition, the restaurants are excellent- lunch at Bistro le Sam, dinner at Champlain and breakfast at Place Dufferin each offer a unique experience and should be visited once. QC has much to offer le château is a great place to start. Thank you
