decent hotel

The stay at this hotel was pretty good. the room was clean enough. I recognize that no hotels clean the linens as much as they should anymore. I would always prefer to walk in and smell clean - bleach - linens, but they weren't grey or gross, just not as fresh as I would prefer. Breakfast was only OK. The seating area was small and there was only a 2 slice toaster which made it difficult to move around in the breakfast area. People were waiting for their bagel / toast to pop and seeing as there wasn't a lot of other options, it made things a little awkward. additionally, it felt like the front desk was staring at those in the breakfast area very intently. Probably has something to do with the sign that indicated that you were not allowed to take your breakfast to your room, so you had to stay in that small area. That makes it feel like they want to make you uncomfortable so you won't eat their VERY small breakfast offerings. Otherwise the staff was nice enough. did not interact with them much.

Property was fine. A bit of garbage laying around the front (wrappers and cigarette butts), but overall clean. It was unpleasant that some people smoked at the door or within a close distance to the door.

Average hotel if you don't need anything fancy.

Our stay was ok. The staff is very friendly. The floors were definitely not cleaned every day. The breakfast items were slow to be restocked. It had ample parking and we were permitted early check in which was great. The rooms are very out dated.
