I stayed at this hotel in Pocos de Caldas, and it felt expensive for what it offers. The rooms are large and reasonably comfortable, but there are not enough blankets, and you have to request them at the front desk. There were no bathroom mats either. Even after asking, I was given a towel to use as a mat, which was not comfortable.
Cleanliness was only average. Some areas, such as behind the beds and between furniture, were not properly cleaned. Breakfast was okay. During my stay, there was no liquid soap in the women’s restroom, even after I specifically requested it for a couple of times.
Another concern was a man outside the hotel who appeared intoxicated and possibly had mental health issues. He had free access to the hotel and intimidated some guests. I was told he was a former owner and therefore allowed unrestricted access, which made the situation uncomfortable.
Overall, it’s just okay. For the price, I believe there are better options available, and I would choose a different hotel next time.
