Book Portland hotels

Parking is a nightmare all year around. The hotel staff are lovely. The hotel is slowly being modernised. We decided to stay an extra night and was able to experience an updated and quieter room which was lovely Both rooms were clean and tidy.

Apart from noisy creaking floorboards and thin walls, no complaints.

We only stayed the one night but would have no qualms about staying again. The family room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Best of all were the staff who were all very helpful and welcoming.

We had a lovely stay at Driftwood B&B. From the moment we arrived, Peter, the owner, made us feel incredibly welcome. He kindly allowed us to check in early as the room was already available, which was a much-appreciated gesture after a long journey. The room itself was spotlessly clean and tidy, with a newly refurbished bathroom that looked great and felt very comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by the generous selection of tea and coffee sachets, which added a nice touch. Breakfast was simple but just right, with a good variety to choose from—including cereal, Weetabix, porridge, toast, fruit, butter, jam, and a selection of hot and cold drinks. Everything was fresh and well presented. Overall, the service was excellent, and we really appreciated the warm hospitality. I would happily recommend Driftwood B&B to anyone looking for a relaxing and friendly place to stay. We’d definitely return!

Perfect little get away to the beach. The Durdle Door Hotel is super well located and easy to get to, even by public transport.

Nice room with balcony. Good service at brrakfast.
