The property is gorgeous and the rooms are spacious. My family and I had a great time. The people from the front desk to the beach were incredible nice, welcoming, and accommodating. Resort is close to some shops and restaurants, we walked there one night and felt pretty safe. If you’re looking for a place to stay I recommend the RWI.

Good spot for our first trip to T&C

This resort had many return visitors whom we met on our trip, so we got the feeling that it was well regarded, as well as being a good value compared with some of the other super pricey resorts. The room was comfortable, though if you plan to do any cooking, I would recommend a 1-bedroom. The studio kitchens had little more than a coffee maker and a microwave. We had daily room service which was a highlight. She left the room looking spotless, and made our bed up each morning. The restaurant was apparently re-done recently and had a fun, modern vibe. We enjoyed happy hour here a couple times and had one delicious dinner. There was one server who we had 2 bad experiences with--took our drink order and never brought us our drinks, so we had to ask for help from someone else, and then at dinner she greeted our table, and then seemed to pass it off to another server. Maybe she didn't like gay people. The free bikes were nice to have available and were great for grocery runs. All in all this was a good stay, but on my next trip I hope to explore North and Middle Caicos and get away from the busy strip of resorts.

Wonderful escape in the Turks and Caicos

We love the Royal West Indues because it's quiet, the setting is beautifully maintained outside and it's right on the best beach in Provo. The units could use some upgrades and the WiFi is terrible. The people - especially Sherman - are wonderful.

Love this resort! Clean! Very friendly staff! Super quiet(my biggest positive)! It’s nice to have the restaurant on property. Plenty of chairs on the beach and towels for use. Every morning the beach staff have been very accommodating in assisting us with umbrellas and side tables! It’s all the little things that add up to help make this a very enjoyable experience! Definitely worth a return trip! Very relaxing! Thank you Royal West Indies for a great time!

We booked this trip through Expedia, which included a two bedroom suite as well as a studio room for my family. I thought the property was charming until I woke up with multiple bites on both of my legs. After the second night, I woke up with additional bites on my legs. I requested to be moved to another room but at that time, they could only give me one room. I stayed in that room minus my family for the third night. The next day, after I literally showed a staff member my legs,i was greeted by the operations manager, Stephanie who moved my family to another two bedroom suite. After unpacking, we noticed dozens of bugs crawling over pillows in the closet, as well as all over the closet walls and ceilings. I will attach these videos and pics. I burst into tears and Stephanie seemed shocked as well. They literally moved me from a bad room to a visibly infested room. They immediately bagged and discarded the pillows. We had to wait until 12:30 am to get moved to get another two bedroom suite. This suite was bug free, but rest assured they did a proper inspection this time. To say this experience was traumatic is an understatement. I would never stay at this resort again. They clearly have a bug problem and they aren’t following the proper precautions. We did not have a problem with my daughter’s studio room. However, this was a family vacation and she in a completely different building from us after we were moved. When I stay at a hotel, I assume it will be pest free.

The beach and grounds are just lovely, as are the staff members. One big disappointment was the lack of drinking water! No small shop on the premises to buy forgotten items or WATER! In most 4/5 star resorts we've visited have a way to replenish one's water bottle....rather than having to go into town and find a grocery shop. Also, the service in the very nice restaurant was very slow. My husband had finished his elegant dinner before I was served. Sorry. The manager tried to help out....but dinner was far from enjoyable.
