Breakfast was great. Lady kitchen staff at the Chinese pastry counter was very kind and nice.

The staff were the most welcoming and helpful people I’ve ever met on my trip to China, They allowed me to borrow their phone for emergencies, and the location is in a great place with lots of tasty restaurants. The place is also very wide, clean, well-maintained with no bad smells whatsoever. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Shanghai and Shanghai Disney. The free shuttles between the airport and Disney were amazing as well. Will look forward to staying here again!! It is a very foreigner friendly hotel.

Mandarin Oriental hotels always set a high standard and this Shanghai property was excellent. Staff were amazing and so polite and helpful. I stayed in a club room and this was spacious and well appointed. Only one draw back was the lack of English TV channels. The complementary toiletries were a bit disappointing. I used the fitness suite and this was excellent- nice spa area as well. Food was generally good especially the breakfast.

The hotel was convenient to the airport and better than what i expected - however not the best at the price. There are no nearby food outlets and the restaurant food wasnt great. Airport terminals are 20 mins away by the airport shuttle offered by the hotel. However - not reliable. I got dropped off but the bus often drove pass when it came to picking up customers - it was random. The next day the bus didnt even do a pick up at the sister hotel - despite being one of the stops on route. I ended up reporting this back to expedia and the staff at the hotel who didnt seem to care - not their problem. In the end, i got taxi's as it was more reliable. I could have paid the taxi fare on top of what i paid for the hotel and stayed at a better place. Message to Expedia/Hotel - don't advertise a service that is not reliable. Do not recommend this hotel and will not be staying here on future trips.
