Nice enough but could do better

The Hotel is handy to restaurants and supermarkets, although the loud music and style of restaurants better suits younger adult travellers. The hotel has two good pools and one the best views of the area from the rooftop pool/bar/restaurant. The hotel is need of some maintenance though, with broken door locks and handles, as well as some patchy grouting and painting in places, and the aircon barely working in the 8th floor atrium. The bit scared me was the half fallen off door handle in the emergency stairwell on the 9th floor. If people are trying to escape to the roof in an emergency and that handle comes off then people could be trapped in the stairwell. The hotel breakfast is the worst in terms of choice and plate sizes (all plates seems small) based on all the hotels we’ve stayed in South America over a number of weeks.

I have to leave hotel at 5am on the morning. Initially reception staff told me they can not pack breakfast for me, later on I checked with staff in restaurant. She told me they can. When I got up in the morning, picked up that breakfast box, it was very disappointing, they seem throwing all those left over small sweet cakes in that box, it is not eatable as breakfast.

We had a great stay! The front desk was welcoming and even helped me get tickets to Iguazú Brazil when I couldn’t get the transaction to process on my mobile. I would caution anyone elderly to be aware that the bathroom is 2 slightly different levels since the shower doesn’t have a door and it could be a fall hazard when wet. Otherwise, great experience!

Great location and really friendly staff especially at the pool bar. Nice touches including supplying razor in the bathroom which was great especially when travelling with only luggage. Prices a little steep for food and drinks

Had a good stay here for 2 nights. Bed was good and room was clean. Our ceiling wasn’t painted so it was concrete. No kettle. Breakfast was good but no jam. Scrambled eggs good and hot. Lovely roof top with bar and pool. Didn’t use. Road leading up to hotel was on a hill but not too steep. At night walking up 3 men standing around, walked quicker!

Great Customer Service!

The front desk was so helpful and they got us transportation to the airport and to the Brazilian side of the falls. The only negative was we had no hot water. At best it was lukewarm and I suspect it was because we were on the top floor in the corner. Good thing is it was so hot outside it really wasn’t an issue. Rooftop was really great. A good option near the center of town!

Convenient location just a block outside the liveliest part of the town center on a quiet street. Decent breakfast but not worth the money if it's not included in your rate. Nice pools and a rooftop bar with a great view if it's not raining. The staff is helpful at providing directions for economical ways to see the waterfalls.
