We went for my husband's 50th birthday and had a great time. The rooms and grounds were beautiful. There was always something to do, You could relax or party. Your choice. I thought the food was very good. Especially the Strip steakhouse, Sofritos which served authentic Dominican food, and the Italian Restaurant on the Dreams Onyx side which we had access to. The only recommendation I have to improve the experience for travelers is that there should be more beach/pool chairs available. The resort was sold out the days I was there and we had to rent a cabana for $150 for 1 day because we couldn't find any available chairs on the beach or by the pool. The cabana was amazing, but I don't think we should have had to pay any additional money to find a place to sit/lay out after spending so much money for a warm weather vacation. There should be a chair for every guest without upselling you for a $100 covered bed/$150 cabana on the beach or $300 for an "open bar" seat near the pool when the entire resort is open bar/all inclusive. Overall, it was wonderful and I will be back. Next time I will bring my reuseable metal straws because to be environmentally friendly the bars don't have straws or only have paper straws.

Beautiful resort, lovely food and great choice of restaurants. Staff were extremely helpful. We had a swimup room which was excellent. We were able to do a couple of excursions during the week too that were great and lots of fun. Only downside is that at both the beach and pools nearly all chairs were booked/taken throughout the day, but this would be an issue everywhere.

Staff was super helpful and friendly. Best we’ve ever encountered. Our assigned concierge, Kelly, was an absolute gem. Give that woman a raise! She took great care of us. Beach is gorgeous. Food is generally good. Not great, but good and plenty of variety. Need more palapas on the northern end of the beach.

We got the XHale access through Expedia and really glad we did . It gave us access to easier checking and out, a separate bar near the room, a delicious uncrowded breakfast, and a separate pool. Jesus, our concierge, answered many questions for us and even solved a potential big issue for us. The resort felt new, clean, and not too crowded even though we were there on a holiday weekend. It’s well laid out.

The resort is beautiful! The pools were great and the beach was warm and gorgeous. We booked at the Xhale level, which was absolutely worth it and really enhanced our stay. There was plenty of entertainment and activities, and the crowd was mostly in their 30s to 50s, creating a grown fun vibe. We loved the variety of specialty restaurants, the buffet (and its late night snack availability!). We would have loved more Dominican-themed events to really feel like we were in the DR. But overall, a great choice for our group celebration and a memorable stay.
