Our room was spacious and very clean. The staff are outstanding. They are helpful and hard working to make the hostel homely. The kitchen was well resourced and clean. Facilities were great with plenty of spaces to chill . The location is outstanding for walking everywhere with a supermarket and restaurants nearby. We loved staying here.

The kitchen and bathrooms were cramped and often full. But, the location and staff were wonderful. The room was clean. The hostel was just full and could have used slightly better designed facilities to accommodate the crowd on hand.

Young and fit.

Great place for young and fit travellers. I would not recommend for families, the no ensuite bathroom was manageable for 2 nights. It was great for what it is. Took me back to my younger YHA days.

It's located on very steep street. Bathroom and bedroom was clean. Window hinge was broken and I couldn't close window properly and cold air was coming in. My room was located by the door to go down stairs, so it was noisy. But very handy location and fit for my purpose.

Like many, stayed a bit longer than planned

Incredibly helpful and genuine staff who were always happy to help - very knowledgeable about the area and always on hand to answer questions. Nice schedule of events each evening (which isnt for me but was again very welcome and i can really see how some guests would really appreciate it. Slight disparity of kitchen facilities available when comparing ground floor to others. Cant be helped though - i imagine things get moved all the time. All in all, a great stay for the price for which you do get more than you pay for in terms of assistance and a nice communal hub

Staff are great, very helpful with any query. Showers - amazing Even though they aren't dragons at all, everyone was very respectful re: noise at night. Good supply of kitchen basics (sugar, coffee, tea, flour and pans and utensils)
