The animation staff was wonderful! The front desk team, especially Woodley, Mikeas, and Sandy, make you feel right at home. Many of the waitresses and waiters also make you feel very welcome and are so much fun! Bar next to the lobby ❤️ Just pick a repellent a lot mosquitoes

Lacking staff, dirty facilities, impossible to make restaurant reservations, food in buffet only 50 percent acceptable, room and sheets smell of mildew. At times could smell sewage in the dining hall. Misadvertisement of what is available at the resort, half of restaurants clised due to it not being high season. Very disappointed. Concierge services just try to sell you things, but provide misinformation otherwise. The concierge told us we qualified for a premium breakfast on one occasion and there was going to be a raffle in which we could participate if we wanted to, but it turned out when we showed up that we had to participate in presentation for vacation ownership to get the premium breakfast. The whole experience literally and figuratively left a bad taste in our mouth...

Cons: Activities and themed restaurants filled up extremely quickly. Because it’s the off-season, only 3 restaurants were open daily instead of the dozen they advertise on Expedia. We were only able to make a reservation one night out of five, eating at the buffet for all other dinners. The staff largely does not speak English well, making it very difficult when you’re trying to make plans or ask for help. Concierges were not very useful, and didn’t care that they weren’t very useful. Our room (particularly the bathroom) was very grimy in comparison to other areas of the resort. Pros: It really is a beautiful resort setting! Many of the wait staff were extremely kind and helpful, and worked hard to meet our needs and answer our questions. The buffet was filled with ample, varied food choices for every meal. I never felt pressured to give or buy while on property; all of the staff were super considerate and respectful. Be aware of: The two gift shops on the beach at the edge of the property are not associated with the resort, although one of the proprietors will claim they are. The excursion hut was staffed by a very engaging man, but all of the prices he quoted for excursions were nearly 200% of what we could find them for on Expedia. Activities were okay, but we weren’t able to make reservations for everything we wanted. Would we go again? Absolutely, but we would go knowing what to expect this time.

Was disappointed with the lack of activities/shows/things to do at the resort. The buffet was standard, but the same choices night after night. The biggest issue was that all the restaurants were booked out days in advance. We had mentioned when booking 6 mon prior we were celebrating a big birthday, but couldn’t get a reservation on any of the nights we were there. Also, kayaking wasn’t available during our stay.

One of the worst vacations. The place was ridiculously anti sanitary ! We got stomach flu. Other reviewers mentioned same issues including ambulance calls etc. in 10 days I never saw them once testing the water in the pools like they do in Mexico. But what I did see is dirty plates in the buffet (mostly on the bottom. But one plates bottom is another plate top!). I saw chef cook in black apron putting out donuts LICKING HIS FINGERS and continuing arranging donuts. Im sure he scratched his other parts before that. The pool by the water park had so much dirt on the floor it hard to stand there, you are like on ice ring. Once a caught random stuff walking into my room. Im glad I caught them ! Twice other visitors opened my door with their keys! When I complained , front desk stuff hardly apologized but changed my keys ( but what good is it if other keys were still out there). Talking of front desk - not very friendly and not too helpful. there is only one lady there (she looks like islanders and is a little on the bigger side) and she always had a smile and was always willing to help and go extra mile (thank you). The only tome you hear “hello” or “good morning” is in the buffet. In comparison in Mexico any stuff member from manager to the last genitor will always say “ola” when they see you. Here -they just walk by. Air conditioner works but does not dehumidify the room, so you are still bathing in your sweat and all your thing are damp. Conclusion- Horrible management !

My family and I had an amazing experience at The Grand Sirenis Punta Cana! The resort was absolutely beautiful, and the pool area quickly became my favorite spot to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The food was delicious with plenty of variety, and every meal felt like a treat. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome — always friendly, attentive, and smiling. The nightly shows and karaoke were so much fun and gave the resort such a lively atmosphere. We truly had the best time and can’t wait to come back again soon!

The pool closes by 6:00 PM which is not good at all. There is nothing around the resorts, no access to the city nor any other place, so the pool is one of the places that should be accessible and open until 10:00 PM like may other resorts and hotels

Maria in the reception area was very helpful to me and my family. I would say that the feedback I had was that communication could be better within the staff (we had two incidents where there was miscommunication) I liked the children’s pool area. When you entered the Buffet area there was a weird smell. I also noticed a smell in the pool as well. I loved the beach area. The drinks were really good especially the coffee. The “Dominican show” was amazing, the dancers did such a great job! I give the buffet a 7.5 out of 10.

Good things The staff is really good, the hotel overall is beautiful and very kids friendly. Not so good, 1st time i go to a hotel and half of the offering service are closed due to “low season” we alway travel in October to resort in DR and had never been told they don’t have that service. Overall maintenance of the hotel could be better, the rooms could be better. Pillows were hard! Bed were somewhat uncomfortable, bathroom were moldy and got flooded. I saw some remodeling going off so hopefully they will fix the little issue that will make the hotel even more AMAZING

El hotel le falta limpieza. Las habitaciones son viejas y no están tan limpias. Tiene mucho potencial pero le falta. El servicio al cliente es espectacular. Todo el personal muy amable

The staff was ok the place was out dated. Food was not good. The Buffet had better service than the 3 nicer restaurants.
