I would not return to this resort unfortunately. Usually the staff greets us at the entrance to check in whether its with a drink or showing us where to go. That did not happen here. Then when they checking in they gave us the keys and didn’t escort us to our rooms either. when we asked if someone would show us she verbally gave us directions and we took our bags and went on our way. The room had a stain on the bed sheets that they used that top layer by the footing area to try and cover up. The second time they changed the sheets, there was a stain that was covered by my pillow. They have a water park that is an 8 minute walk. However we had a 2 year old with us, so the other option was a 5$ taxi ride. The only good thing i’d say about this resort is the waiters that worked in the Isabel Buffet, went above and beyond. In particular two brothers Juan and Ariel. They were spectacular. My 2 year old was not eating anything and they assisted by getting her strawberries and bananas (the only thing she would eat there) even when the buffet did not have them available for everyone. That meant so much. Other than this, would not recommend or go back.

Staff was very friendly and service was excellent.. Breakfast selection was very good.Hotel is super clean. Rooms are huge, great beds, with a balcony. Slight damp/ musty smell in the room tho. And toilet hard to flush.Pools were clean as well and chairs were usually available. Loved the swim up bar.Beach chairs were a little harder to get and need updated. This was our second stay here. Nightly entertainment was not as good as the first stay with more kids entertainment vs dancing and professional acts.

My stayat the resort was enjoyable; however, there are a few areas that I believe require improvement. The bed in my room was quite uncomfortable, being very hard, which caused me back pain. Another issue that concerned me was the behavior of the staff. I sensed a possible bias or preference towards European guests. I raised this concern with one of the buffet managers, explaining that I felt the servers would benefit from better training. As a Latina with medium light skin, I noticed that many servers did not greet me when I was seated and waiting for service. In contrast, guests with very light skin or European appearance were immediately greeted warmly, often even embraced. I found this treatment rather discourteous. When I mentioned this to the supervisor, he responded with some skepticism, saying it was unusual and that he had never encountered such feedback before. Additionally, the buffet menu lacked variety, offering the same options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. Among their restaurants, they have a Japanese establishment that, in my opinion, was quite disappointing. The chef did not appear to demonstrate much expertise. For example, the tempura dishes served to me were burnt, excessively greasy, and overly fried, leading me to advise against dining there. Nonetheless, overall, my experience was positive.
