The hotel has pretty much everything you need with a lot of options in restaurants, the food and the beverages has a great variety, the hotel even have a water park. They have a great staff trained to help you and answer all your questions. I highly recommend this hotel.

The tv was broken in the room. The outlets weren’t working. The sheets were dirty.the front desk kept trying to send a technician which took almost 4 hours just in which they ended up switching our room to another room where the outlets also didn’t work and the tv was broken. There is no shows, activity or entertainment throughout the week.

We had to switch rooms because the first rooms AC was not working even after they came to fix it. After being in the second room for two days, we were locked out because the door key pad/entry stopped working and they had to reprogram it. On the third day, the couples that we were vacationing with was locked out of their room because their keypad/entry stopped working. The food was not that good compared to the other Riu hotels that I’ve stayed at. There are no elevators and long walks to get to your room. The place needs to be renovated. The only drinks that were good were in the sports bar. It took so long to check in. And it took even longer to get a new room. My first night there I didn’t get to sleep until midnight because I was waiting almost 2 hours to change rooms. There were no amenities on the property. Anything that you wanted to do meaning the parties, tennis, water park/slides and shopping are about 15-20 minutes walk. Our vacation went OK we made the most of it, but we will definitely not be coming back to this hotel.

I’ve recently stayed at this resort the service was ok but the food and the resort itself was horrible. Which was very disappointing to me because I love the Riu hotel in other countries, I’m even a Riu access member so this one really disappointed me. The rooms are so outdated, they smelled really bad, and we had to keep the AC on just to get rid of the mildew smell. There were old water stains everywhere bedroom, hallway, bathroom. The only gave out sheets no blankets, the mini bar in the room, the bottles were old not. Probably not changed in more than just two days. The food was horrible there were no selections for the non-pork consumers. There is barely any entertainment and if they did it was like nails scratching a chalk board. The kitchen staff gave you attitude if you asked for your food a certain way it almost felt like you were insulting them, but not everyone eats sunny side up eggs. The service anywhere else was great the bartenders, the servers that came around while you were eating, down to the taxi drivers. This hotel needs a serious staff adjustment and makeover. Highly disappointed!

My two friends and I went and it was so much fun! We met so many people and had a blast! The food was really good compared to Mexico. You have to try the steakhouse! So good! The Riu parties were amazing as well! We had so much fun!
