I overall had a good experience with my friends, however this resort can improve on cleanliness and food choices. There are only a few restaurants, in which the variety was the same everyday. The rooms also lacked cleanliness even after housekeeping came.

The property overall was beautiful. The food was nothing to rave about but was sufficient, the steakhouse was by far the best meal there. The maintenance upkeep needs attention. A/C and exhaust fan in room not working well, sink drains barely draining. The language barrier for English translation was a big barrier. Restocking on room supplies was not the greatest, the Riu app was not always working. Overall it was a good trip other than small items

The views food grounds and music is great. I was surprised that Riu rents rooms out like mine. Balcony screen with a hole and broken, refrigerator casing on one hinge hanging, mirror surface worn and stained, sheets dirty and smelled like the person who used them before me, dry blood splatter on sink wall, shower door hinge out of place. I had to keep reminding myself that it’s only 5 days. When I did get a working remote after asking for 3 days; the screen on the tv was distorted so you couldn’t even make out faces on the screen. I was disappointed with the room. I tried to use the liquor dispenser and black debris came out in the whiskey. It took me 2 days to get a blanket. Be careful moving on the bed because it’s unattached. It’s huge though and mattresses were really comfortable. The accent pillows were flat - that was interesting. The walk to the room was like the twilight zone. It was really far from the resort.

Stayed Hotel Rui Bambu PuntaCana March 1 - 6 room 303. The minute we entered the room it smelled moldy. I checked the Mattress and it was filthy and had mold on it. They change the mattress but the the room still smelled. We asked for our room to be changed but was that they were fully booked. Bathroom door was falling off and bathroom sink was leaking. It took them two days to fix it. There was no ironing board this also took two days before we got one. Room door malfunctions on separate days took 30 minutes before we could get back into the room. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

I didn’t like this resort! This resort needs more professionals this resort needs better customer service the food is NO GOOD! AT NIGHT THRRE NO SERVICE YOU HAVE TO GO GET EVERYTHING YOURSELF EVERYTHING IS A MESS, COMPARE TO OTHER RESOETS I BEEN TO IN PUNTA CANA THIS IS TRASH! BEING HONEST YOU GUYS NEED BETTER ASSISTANCE GOOD FOOD AS WELL & MORE TRANSPORTING, AS WELL I HAD TO PICK UP MY UBER EATA FOOD ALL THE WAY TO THE FRONT OF THE RESORT EVEN THOUGH I ASKED IF SOMEONE CAN GET IT FOR ME AND ILL PAY THEM AND THEY SAID NO OR IF SOMEONE CAN TAKE ME THEY SAID NO THERE JUST NO GOOD! I PAID LOTS OF MONEY FOR PEOPLE TO BE THIS WAY! YOU GUYS NEED TO IMPOROVE WAY MORE! ALOT ! I DONT RECOMMEND THIS RESORT BUT IT WAS A EXPERIENCE FOR ME NOT TO EVER GO BACK OR RECOMMENT TO ANYONE!

Great resort for a family with adult kids. We were able to enjoy all activities and RIU parties. Pools are open 24/7 which I have never encountered, Surroundings are not luxurious but very practical and pretty, without feeling the need to go to that one spot, plenty pools, chairs and smart shade, no need to wake up early for umbrellas. Not a 5 star food choice but plenty healthy, fresh option, and to be fair, I don’t pick all inclusive if food is my main attraction. Breakfast is the best and Tania made it even better, every morning greating us with a smile and taking care of us. Overall we had a blast and would come back here.
