The hotel has an interesting design with large enclosed center space. It feels 70s/80s retro, and it's neat to sit at the ground floor common area. Had a room on the 2nd floor (which is what connects to the parking garage) by the elevators - it was a little loud. Otherwise room was nice and in good shape; bed and couch very comfortable. There were three sinks for some reason if you're into that.

Arrived for check-in and front desk informed us “the system” had oversold so the suite we had reserved with enough beds for us was not available. We were put in a very crowded suite which was unpleasant. Were offered a discount which was nice but didn’t make up for the bad experience. We’re off so offered to check the next day to see if a larger suite was available, but we had a very busy itinerary on our trip and would not have had time to pack up all of our belongings and move to another room so we didn’t. Overall, just a really bad experience.

My favorite hotel has always been the embassy suites on glenwood ave, Raleigh NC I would never stay there again.. starting with Jaylen at the front desk to the roach my curtain and the hot water running out brown! Never AGAIN customer service there is terrible now and it’s not what it used to be…
