Upon my check in to the hotel, I was charged an additional 161.00 that I was told would be refunded. I was told by the receptionist that the charge was for an incidental fee, and have yet to receive my refund. On top of that, we drove separately and had to pay additional parking fees. I felt misguided, as I recieved a follow up email from a jiquan.williams@pyramidglobal.com who never responded when I inquired about my refund. I’m glad they didn’t charge us for additional towels and blankets! Never again!

I had such a wonderful experience at The StateView Hotel in Raleigh! The hotel was clean, modern, and beautifully maintained. The view from our room was absolutely stunning, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. My daughter was celebrating her birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special — everyone was friendly, professional, and welcoming. We started to head downtown for dinner but decided to check out Flask & Beaker located right downstairs — and I’m so glad we did! The food did not disappoint. I had the salmon, my daughter had steak, and both dishes were amazing. The waitress provided excellent service, and the Mule I ordered was honestly the best one I’ve had so far. I did have a small issue with the hold on my card, but it was resolved and didn’t take away from how great the entire experience was. I would absolutely recommend The StateView Hotel to anyone visiting Raleigh and can’t wait to come back!

I have stayed here many times. It’s always clean and quiet. I didn’t feel like the current staff was very friendly- they didn’t do anything wrong, but other places I have stayed in the past year have been more welcoming. Also, I was annoyed that they now charge for parking. It’s not a garage, so I don’t see a reason for suddenly charging when it’s been free before. Total money grab for no reason.

Friendly front desk staff, but comes with a $12 overnight parking fee for parking in a virtually empty lot. Very corporate atmosphere. Great place to stay for work, don’t recommend as a place to stay if you’re looking for walkable amenities. Note, Marriott will not give you stay credit if booking through Expedia.

Front desk was not as welcoming to me when I arrived and seemed annoyed. I wanted a breezy friendly check in after my 8 hour drive. On top of this, the TV was not working upon arrival and had to call the front desk multiple times, a fire alarm test happened during my stay, and the elevators were not working!! I also had to pay for parking. For the price I paid it was 100% not worth it! I've stayed in budget hotels with better customer service!
