The staff (Bichu) is always so friendly and helpful. Rooms are simple, but clean. Dehumidifiers in the guests’ absence would be a good move, otherwise a great, cheap place to stop. Free overnight parking on the street!

The room was clean & tidy with lots of hot water available & a very comfortable bed, however it did not reflect the photos on the web site. There was no court yard. The owners were friendly & helpful. Sadly the room was very noisy with a non stop whining sound that was probably from air con units on the property next door, earplugs required to sleep at night. Within walking distant of Te Papa museum, the cable car & the Beehive. Probably very good value for what it offers, but not what I excepting.

Overall it well suited my requirements. I was pleased to find it central to the places I needed to go to while in Wellington. The onsite manager was friendly, very helpful and available to assist with anything if required. The only downside for me personally was that my room, which had a glass door and very large window fronting the courtyard the opposite rooms, which left me no privacy when the curtains were open. In saying this, I wouldn't hesitate to use the hotel again if it suited my travel agenda.

Everything was great! The staff was extremely helpful. One minor suggestion is that the shower in the suite could be designed better. Everytime we took a shower, the whole bathroom would get wet because the curtains don't go all the way to the ground. Otherwise it's a great location and good value!

Loved our stay at U Boutique Hotel. It had everything we needed, was spacious, comfy and luxurious but at an affordable price. The balcony with the spa was such an awesome addition to be able to have that peace and relaxation. Staff were responsive and efficient. Thanks so much!

Manager took great care with us.. Beautiful ly clean.. King studio.. Much bigger than pics look.. So central but quiet, just down a one lane st.. Slept till 9-10am most mornings it was so quiet.. Highly recommend,, great value for money.. Fully equipped kitchen for our needs
