Just two suggestions. On the buffet, may be have more options like chicken/beef; some people like us, we dont eat pork. I need it an iron, but this hotel does not have iron. I needed it for wrinkle shirt/dress.

The location and breakfast were excellent. However, several issues made the stay frustrating. Be careful not to take the water bottles from the refrigerator—there’s a steep charge, with no warning about it. If I had known, I would have bought a case of water down the street for a fraction of the cost. Even though housekeeping did not clean the room daily or replenish water, I was charged for four bottles every day for five days. The shower stall was poorly designed, so the water didn’t drain properly. After I raised the concern, they moved us to another room and admitted it was a design flaw rather than a drain issue. The new room had the same drainage problem, though slightly better. On top of that, the house phone in the new room didn’t work. They promised an IT technician would fix it on Monday, but no one ever came before we checked out.

Great Stay in Arena Leme

Perfect Location, Not Too busy, Not Far and in the middle of action, beautiful beach in front and Good Breakfast was included. the Hotel Corridors and Rooms needs a Little TLC. I just had a problem withe the bed that needed to be replaced, it was taken care of.

I like that it was close to a lot of activities yet in a nice corner of Copacabana Beach. The only thing I didn’t like is that they made you wait until someone can verify if you took something from the mini-bar. I’ve been to three hotels on this trip and they were the only hotel that did that. There has to be a better way to do that. If someone lies and actually takes something, maybe they should just charge the card used to pay for the hotel and call it a day. A minor grip but I felt should be noted.

Hotel is great. Comfortable and very safe. Staff is very friendly and always willing to help you. Breakfast is good but layout can make the room a little chaotic with guests bumping into each other. Room is comfirbake and shower has great water pressure. Soap, shampoo and body wash smells great. The location is the best. Leme is a quiet district a few steps from Copacabana. So if you are looking for a quiet and comfortable hotel to sleep close to the action in Copacabana, Arena Leme is the place to stay.
