We have stayed at this place for 4-5 times, so things were the usual. Only opportunity area was the fact that the reception staff can’t find past history of our stay and blames it on booking it through Expedia- recommending to book directly with the hotel website if the hotel were to recognize us as a returning guest…. Weird. Tried explaining that it shouldn’t be the case but to no avail. Everything else worked as clockwork: proximity to Meyo, quality of room etc.

The customer service was exceptional, the room was comfortable, and the amenities were very good. The mattress was too soft and lumpy and the parking was terrible, especially if you have a large vehicle. It seems like parking is an issue in downtown Rochester. Oh, and a trainiterally passes just feet from he hotel in the middle of the night.

We have stayed at quite a few hotels in our numerous trips to Rochester. This one is by far my favorite so far. It was very clean and comfortable. There was a nice bathroom with a really spacious shower. There were the large containers for shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, so less waste! The staff was VERY friendly and helpful, which is possibly most important. The thing about Rochester is that very few people visit there for fun and recreation. There is a very distinct reason to be there. When we are there, it is always, always stressful. The staff at this hotel seemed to go above and beyond to be helpful, which is incredibly welcome during our stays.

Great location for Mayo Clinic appointments. Hotel is modern, quiet, clean with a professional staff. Only negative is parking spots are tight.

Sorry to have bought into the high reviews on this one. I seldom fill out reviews, but since you asked…..Our room came with a plugged toilet, weak shower head pressure, and soil stained towels. Add parking for $16 a night, and I was quite disappointed.
