The glass windows are broken. The doors do not lock. They have a roach infestation. The rooms smell horrendous. They stole my $100 deposit claiming “the room needed to be deep cleaned” I stayed for 3 days. I called Expedia the first day with the roach problem and I was told that I wasn’t able to cancel the reservation I had made after I checked in. Expedia offered me a $50 voucher that expires in 60 days. Within 10-15 minutes we seen 3 roaches in the bathroom and another two crawling on the table where we had just put our $73 worth of pizza on! We don’t live in New York, we reside in North Carolina. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel or Expedia at this point! Also was told by the hotel I can not speak to the manager who is Samantha unless he thinks I had a good reason to do so. Red flags everywhere.

None of the outside doors were locked to get inside the hotel rooms. Did not feel safe. Clarion was very very outdated, looked like something out of the 1980's. They did not clean my room, when I asked about it they told me the only way they cleaned the room if you request it and it was too late to request.

They did not post that there was a $100 deposit fee after I had already booked on Hotels.com. They would not refund my money and Hotels.com was no help. I had to make a complaint to my bank and they had my money returned. I will never stay at that property. The staff is rude and not helpful at all.

I normally don’t waste my time but I feel that this is worth it. The moment I got into my room , I found two cockroaches in my bathroom . As my daughter sat a the bed there was another one crawling out of the sheets . After ten minutes of being in the room I went downstairs and spoke to the front desk to describe the unsanitary conditions . I asked to be lease be moved and upon entering the second room there were even more roaches in that bathroom then the previous . I ended up having to leave this hotel and drive two and half hours back home because there was no way I could stay in a hotel like this . The front desk acted like it was normal and did nothing to rectify the situation . I will be disputing the charge on my card and submitted a claim BBB. This hotel is unsanitary and needs to be shut down
