Unprofessional so called hotel

This hotel was not inhabitable! Another patron who checked in 5 mins. prior to me, came out after viewing his room, and advised me to reconsider staying there. He felt it was not safe or clean for his family or mine.

Awful stay

So many things were terrible. Place was dirty , old and run down. AC unit did not work well and constantly went on and off and did not cool room off well. People slammed doors early in the morning. One of the reasons selected this hotel was a Pool and it was filthy and had green tint to it and algae on the pool. There were also black pellets which looked like from feces all over the pool deck. The side entrance door leading into the entrance of hotel where rooms located did not lock at all. Could not wash clothes after 10pm.

First of all this place is not a Clarion Hotel The letters are falling off the building! it’s like a war zone! with broken windows mold everywhere and every single review that you read is a horror story and it’s absolutely true. Even the fire alarms are turned off with a warning sign that they are not active. Lookup “Fire Watch” situation I will upload some pictures when I get a chance because even one star is not even close to what’s going on over there! Complete disaster of a bankrupt hotel!

Don’t stay here unless you want an outdated and uncomfortable motel or hotel where you have crackheads walking all around and also the staff paying no attention to what’s going on. I would ask my money back if I can.

HORRIBLE: Due to an unacceptable stay and lack of service I checked out early and was refused a refund. The staff was not helpful and dismissive. There were also police officers onsite due to problems at the hotel. I experienced the following unacceptable conditions: 1.Refrigerator Not Working: I reported this issue and was told that a refrigerator is a "courtesy" and not guaranteed. If that’s true, it should be made clear at booking. 2.Room Phone Not Working: The in-room phone was completely nonfunctional, which is a basic safety and service requirement. 3.Unsecured Building Door: The exterior door to the building would not secure, causing me to feel unsafe on the property. 4.Damp Floor: The room’s floor was damp, further reducing comfort. 5.Lamp Not Working: One of the lamps in my room was broken. I brought these concerns to the attention of the front desk after my first evening, but nobody addressed them or offered solutions. When I informed staff of my intent to check out due to these persistent problems, I was told that I would not receive a refund for the second night. And, they refused to provide me with a receipt indicating that I checked out earlier than planned due to these issues. The onsite manager was unhelpful and, again, denied a refund for the unused second night. I returned later in the evening to speak with another staff member, but the response was the same.

I did not care for the property at all. Any doors that should have been locked for safety puposes; the locks didn't work; they were open. There were notices posted stating that the fire alert system didn't work. There wasn't air comditioner in the lobby; very hot while waiting for a few people to check in in front of me. There wasn't any elevators for guests in building. Made it very difficult for me to bring all the baby stuff we needed into the building. Once in the rooms, they seemed VERY old. Air conditioner didn't work the best. Needed many updates. On the day of check out, I saw a couple of roaches, one big and several small ones. While waiting on line to notify the desk, the woman at the desk was very stressed and short with some of the guests. I will not returning there!!!

It was the less expensive in the area

Comfortable bed, decent water pressure & hot water. Saved on house keeping as it was non-existent. Property overall needs a lot of TLC, a lot of broken windows and some rooms look like they've been abandoned. Quiet and relatively cheap. Normally stay elsewhere, but they all wanted $1000+ for the week, this was just over $500 and not a roach coach.
