Wonderful: Made Even Better by Exceptional Service

From the moment we arrived, the lobby staff made us feel welcome—especially Alana, who went above and beyond to ensure our experience was smooth and enjoyable. We were pleasantly surprised to be allowed to check in much earlier than expected, which was a huge help. Our original room was fine, but located in an older part of the hotel and lacked a bit of the sparkle we were hoping for. Since the full-size beds felt a bit small for us, we inquired about an upgrade. Alana, without hesitation or hassle, graciously moved us to an oceanfront room—and what a difference it made! The upgraded room was spacious, beautifully decorated in a simple yet elegant style, and featured large, incredibly comfortable beds. The view and ambiance made our stay feel truly special. Even better, upon checkout, we were happy to find there were no unexpected charges for the upgrade. All in all, our experience was top-notch thanks to the staff's warmth and flexibility—Alana deserves special recognition for her hospitality. We would absolutely stay here again!

Our third time staying here and will stay again. Some very minor things in need of repair but overall clean and friendly staff and great location. Convenient having the bar and restaurant on site and a great pool for days when it’s not a beach day. The beach is clean and uncrowded and great for swimming

Quick trip down to the NJ shore. Love this hotel it is perfect for a quiet and enjoyable beach visit with great places to visit nearby. The staff were so friendly and accommodating!

Proximity to the beach was perfect - view of the bay view of the ocean - perfect! The newer rooms are the way to go, the older rooms I did not like and had to change. It seems a bit outdated, aging. The pool area could be kept much cleaner and freshened up, but overall it’s a great place.

This property has a great location, right across the street from the private beach. The pool is pretty nice, and the restaurant is good. We were in the older part of the hotel, and rooms were a bit rundown and mildewy. For the price, it was OK.

This hotel is filthy, run down, and falling apart. This is nothing but good marketing. I paid $1200 for 3 nights, but I've had better quality at cheap motels. Housekeeping never came once. My room was filthy when I checked in. When the maid didn't come by 5:30pm on Day 2, I went to the office and asked for clean washcloths/towels so I could shower (I spent the day at the beach). They said they'd send housekeeping, but never did. I tracked down the maid. She told me she didn't have any in her cart but she'd bring me some later. Long story short, I had to use the same dirty washcloth and wet towel for 4 days, living like a pig. There are no garbage cans in the rooms, so you have to throw your garbage on the floor. The rooms have microwaves and refrigerators, but no tables to eat your food. You have to eat on the bed. The hotel room floors are covered with sand, which tracks into the bed. With no maid service, the bed became filthy with sand and food. There were ants all over in the shower (not surprising). Every time I took a shower, I had to wash the ants away first. The bathroom walls had dead insects and hair all over them. The walls throughout the room severely need paint. No overhead lights in the room, so it's dark. The outside was littered with garbage on the ground. The vending machines and ice machine are in an area that closes at 9pm. Even cheap hotels have vending machines available 24/7. But...all the vending machines were broken anyway. This is NOT luxury.

Amazing view of the ocean from our room! Pool area was nice and had a riverfront view. Pool bar was convenient for a poolside drink and lunch! Easy parking. Walk across the main road to the beach & ocean. Only downside was no full length mirror in our room.

I never leave reviews but this place was terrible. Check in was at 4pm so i arrived at 415pm. I checked in and went to my room to find a dirty room. Bed was not made and tip money was left on the table. So i nicely went back to the office and told them that someone didnt get to clean my room. They apologized and told me to check back later. After checking back many time room wasnt ready until 7pm. No compensation or anything off the bill. Just Sorry. Once i get to my room. The bed was a full size. Not a queen the site said it was. Mattress was very cheap and felt like it belongs in a pullout couch. The bathroom shower was disgusting. I took pictures of it. Internet was free but does not work. Overall i would not stay here again. Only good thing was the location. Staff seemed not to care about anything.
