Best ever.

Excellent! Friendly staff, great room. Warm, comfortable bed, hot shower, toiletries provided, clean, and breakfast was downstairs in the pub. Very clean, good food, great hosts. Across the road from the railway station, convenient but also very quiet.

Beautiful decor in the pub where breakfast was served.

I wish I could do ten stars instead of just five! We had a wonderful stay at the Caboose.....the staff (Lauren, James and Valeria) were wonderful and super friendly with good advice about the area. The location was close to the train station, easy walking to the city center, market, parks and cathedral. Rooms were comfortable and clean, shower was excellent. It was surprisingly quiet for being right next to the train tracks although they did supply ear plugs for light sleepers. There was ice water, and coffee/tea supplies in the room. Delicious breakfast cooked to order in the mornings....the fresh croissants were some of the best I've ever had. The only slight minus was the lack of an elevator which might be an issue for those with mobility problems.....not a problem for us, but I mention it so you won't be surprised. The staff offered to carry our luggage up and down the stairs which was so sweet. I would wholeheartedly stay here again! Thank you for a great experience in Salisbury.

Staff was amazing! Had a wonderful time with a clean room and thought it was a really neat place. The staircase could be difficult for some, as it's obviously an old one built when treads weren't as deep. Nicely set up room, though small in size. Would definitely stay there again! The only downside for me was lack of a soft pillow though flatter pillows appear to be more standard in the UK. Since we were early to arrive we were able to store our luggage at the associated bar a couple of doors up the street and James was nice enough to retrieve it and get it to our room while we enjoyed the friendly people and nice atmosphere there with good food and drinks.

Great breakfast. Good location for town & cathedral. Nice atmosphere & quaint. Room a bit small. No lift. Near the station for parking but watch out for the fees. A day ends at 3.49am!! quite noisy at night.

Well positioned small hotel.

It’s in a great position close to the station and City centre. Very close too to public car parking at the station. You have to use a very narrow staircase to get to your room so not good if you have heavy cases. We only met one member of staff there who both greeted us on arrival and served breakfast. She was friendly and helpful. The room was great the bathroom was a good size too.

Home away from home.

Nice friendly staff. We were able to stow our luggage inside because we arrived too early and after checking out to tour the town. Close to the train station. Rooms were recently remodeled. Breakfast was traditional, very good, home cooked. The only downside is the stairs to the rooms. Very tight, but they will bring the luggage up for you.

Update to the review that I started when we arrived last night. Bed was comfy once I sorted my pillow out. Shower really nice and has body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Lovely big towels. Breakfast was yum. Full English. Also pastry granola fruit toast etc. all included. Definitely will come again. Thank you 😊

Lovely Stay In Salisbury

Had a lovely stay in Salisbury, our room at Caboose was very comfortable , excellent location for exploring the City. Caboose is a very quirky place but more a B & B than Hotel as the Bar area wasn't open and the Website led us to believe it was, which was a bit disappointing. Just a suggestion that its should be made clear that this is the case. Would recommend as a base , breakfast was acceptable.

Beautiful, elegant treasure right around the corner from the train station and near bus stops. Easy walk to Salisbury Cathedral and Museum. Excellent breakfast! Delicious Nepalese restaurant a few doors to the left. Lovely pub where you can safely leave your luggage and have a beer and eat pub food. Stonehenge a bus ride away!

The hotel is right in few steps from train station, they also offered baggage storage after check out. It bring us more convenience while traveling in town. The room displayed same as the photo provided. However, our room face the train track, you can hear the train approaching but it’s not bothered me. Hotel offer earplug in the room.

Cute B&B

The B&B was great and staff were very friendly. They own a restaurant up the street and we were able to store luggage there before and after our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I was a bit worried about the noise, being so close to the railroad, but I hardly noticed it; I didn't even use the free ear plugs provided by the hotel. The Lobby and breakfast area was very fun and eclectic and the breakfast was great.
