I thought we were splurging by getting the more expensive hotel, but it was a disappointment all around. There was construction going on, the breakfast “made to order” was placed in a microwave and there was no free drip coffee in the lobby. And we could have sworn they advertised and indoor pool, but that has yet to be found. We are booked at another Marriott in Hawaii next year and are considering canceling it because of this experience. The location to Sea World was spectacular. That’s the only redeeming factor.

We stay here every time we're in town. It's close enough to downtown and other sites, only a 20 minute ride from everything. The staff are amazing and there are two pools to enjoy...can't go wrong.

Terrible experience, never coming back! I arrived at this hotel expecting at least the basics, and I just kept getting more and more disappointed. First of all, they don’t say anywhere that you have to pay for parking. You already pay a lot for the room and then get hit with this extra surprise at check-in. Totally misleading. Second, there is no breakfast included. Not even a simple coffee or something basic. Nowadays almost every decent hotel offers at least some kind of breakfast, but not this one. Third, there was only one jacuzzi working. The others were closed/broken. If you book thinking you’re going to relax, forget it. Too many people trying to use the same jacuzzi, you basically have to wait in line. Ridiculous. To make it worse, there is no microwave in the room, and not even a proper area to heat up food. For anyone traveling with kids or who likes a bit of practicality, this is a huge inconvenience. Overall, it feels like false advertising, poor facilities and a bunch of little “extras” just to take more money from guests. I do not recommend this hotel and I will not be staying here again.
