The location is good, and the area around the hotel is quiet, which was a plus. The hotel itself is fairly dated and could really use a refresh. The room was functional and met basic needs, but it showed a lot of wear and tear. A remodel would definitely benefit this property. That said, I was on the go most of the time, so the room was mainly just a place to sleep, shower, and get ready, and it served that purpose fine. The restaurant and bar in the lobby were nice. The bartender was awesome—she stayed open late for my group and played music for us, which made for a great experience. The price was reasonable for the stay. Overall, it worked for this trip, but it would not be my first choice if I were to visit San Antonio again.

Exterior building could be cleaned and painted. Desk staff is not professional and seemed childish and uncaring. Elevators are dirty, room was definitely sore. Refrigerator did not work, paint scuffed all through, a 2 star, cords from TV were hanging out. Over priced for the " historic" vibe

The room was just ok. The lobby bathroom was very dirty. They should replace the trash cans and do a detailed cleaning. They told us later about getting a microwave. The staff was awesome. Naomi was the best at the bar!

The room was nice and so was the view towards the river! Staff was super nice especially their ballet staff, the deposit caught us off guard last minute since we booked through a third party. Most hotels don’t do that :/ but everything else was super nice!

First room we walked in to smelled like heavy weed. Wallpaper was peeling off. Went down to the lobby and they changed our room. Next room we went in was dirty. Things were all in place and the bed was made but you can tell it was not cleaned. Went back down checked out and left completely.
