Loved the property, valet was convenient, lobby was beautiful. Elevator, rooms, bathrooms and hallways can use some updating, very dated but clean. Bathrooms need to be regrouted. Such a convenient location. We stayed here twice. The cinnamon rolls in the cafe are to die for.

The overall property was obviously once very nice. It is getting rundown. Unfortunately, the city does not do anything to help their homeless and drug addicted population so you see a lot of that around the hotel. I did feel face in the hotel but would not have walked out of it. The first room we were given had filthy sheets on both beds. I called and the desk clerk someone down to confirm I was telling the truth. There was literally hair and mud between the sheets. We were moved to another room that was fine. I would not stay here again.

Several issues experienced during my recent stay at your property from July 22–26. Throughout the duration of our visit, we encountered multiple inconveniences including: • Lack of running water on several early mornings • Inconsistent hot water • Non-functioning elevators These disruptions significantly impacted our stay and were not reflective of the quality suggested by the online reviews and promotional images, which I now realize only accurately depict the front seating area. Upon checkout, I reported these issues to the front desk staff. The associate, in my presence, contacted her District Manager Anthony, who authorized a 50% discount due to the inconveniences. I was assured by the staff that this adjustment would be reflected on my final receipt. I even called to asks for another room. I was told they had a handicap room and I can move there. She would need to check. Later call back and said no other rooms available when. I walked outside to the pool area and it was plenty rooms available. We were on the 6th floor room However, upon reviewing my statement, I noticed that only one night was discounted, not the 50% reduction that was promised of my total. I called on Saturday at 6:30 PM to inquire further, and was surprised to be told to call back Monday and speak to Alexis identified as the manager, I called and spoke with Alexis and she simply didn’t care.

Don’t book here if you’re looking for a view of the Riverwalk.its Riverwalk adjacent no real view of anything worth seeing. There is fees included for parking ($30 valet $18 for “self parking” which is essentially daily parking with no security) we had to move rooms twice during my stay because 2 of the rooms the shower was not working. I don’t think I had an enjoyable shower while I was there because there were several water issues. And instead of the hotel refunding me because I booked through Expedia they would only offer me 2 free nights of valet parking. Our room was upgraded to a suite by the 2nd day and it was decently nice but I would not recommend anyone stay there as your money would likely be better spent elsewhere.
