Reasonable stay

Hotel was nice, the ice was dirty and there are cats living and being fed outside the common area! The beds a comfy and clean your are getting exactly what you paid for…….no elevator just stairs. Again the ice was extremely dirty

Construction on 35 made it hard to navigate in and out of property. Old building and with that comes old building properties. That being said, the staff was kind and helpful. Seemed to be doing everything they can with that property. The lobby got real warm in the morning for breakfast. Aside from that its exactly what you pay for. A clean, cheap bed just for the night.

Location was alright, there was construction but that was not in control of Hotel. Over all the room was clean we didnt have any issues. Pricing was good for 2 nights.

“Unsafe, Unsanitary, and Unapologetic – Avoid This

I stayed at SureStay Hotel by Best Western San Antonio Riverwalk and had a terrible experience. My first room had bed bugs, and the one they moved me to was right next door—also unclean. I had to demand a safer room further away. To make matters worse, the staff was rude, sarcastic, and completely unapologetic. No compensation was offered for the health risk, emotional stress, or inconvenience. I took photos of the bugs, bites, and filth. Do not stay here if you care about cleanliness, safety, or basic respect.

The property is good, the rooms are comfortable. But it is an old renovated property with poor finishes and the breakfast was not good, as in the batter was sour for the waffles and the food was greasy. But the price is great and the location was near the Witte museum which was the reason.

The check in was fine no problems but did need to pay a deposit. Once we came in the room the room looked okay but once we layed in the bed the bed made noise and was uneven and it leans to one side. Not the cleanest room. The couch was dirty. The restroom sink had hairs on it. And the shower head wasn’t throwing good water.

Staff was very friendly. The room was very clean. You were able to park your car which was safe even though we had Lucky in the back of our truck.
