The staff was AMAZING! Kind, courteous, informative & attentive. They made our experiences feel very personalized. The guides shared details about Belizian culture, history, folklore, agriculture & import/exports. The view is gorgeous & the food was delicious.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The onsite restaurant was delicious and a huge shout out to our server Wendy who had helpful advice on what to eat and how to eat like locals. We stayed in a casita and it was clean and comfortable with absolutely amazing views! Thank you so much for our stay and we would highly recommend!
We had a party of six and we were only able to stay one night. We wish we could have stayed longer the staff was superb and the food was excellent. We had an unfortunate incident which required a late checkout and they were so accommodating. What a wonderful staff everyone always had a smile and we're very helpful. My wife and I live here in Belize and we will definitely come and stay more often.
The staff at Cahal Pech resort were super friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend having them set up your tours of the Mayan ruins if that's what you are there to do. The tours were very reasonable and we pretty much had our own personal driver and tour guides. They also set us up with the trip into Guatemala to tour Tikal as well. Again, we had our own driver and tour guide. They pretty much walk you across the border and get you situated. The resort also arranged our transfer from the airport to the resort and from the resort to the Water Taxi. It was great to have a driver because they had lots of local information and all of them were local to San Ignacio. We learned lots of local information and history during the drives. The resort itself is delightful. It is not a 5 star luxury resort, but was very comfortable and clean. The pools were awesome and the views of the valley were amazing. Sunsets on the deck overlooking the valley were out of this world. We stayed in a Cabana, which was very comfortable, good A/C, and nice views. The restaurant was very good. We ate breakfast and dinner there. Lunch was had out. Would definitely stay there again.
Incredible views all around the property. Two pools and a hot tub. Delicious food from the restaurant! We stayed in the cabana, and it was 100% the way to go, with your own private sunroom and hammock looking out onto all of San Ignacio.
Beautiful rooms, wonderful staff always accomodating. Food is fantastic. Able to get all your tours right from the front desk. Need anything at all just ask. I would absolutely stay here again! The ruins down the street was one of the best to see.
The property was gorgeous and well taken care of. The private outdoor space with a hammock was a wonderful addition. The hotel is up a very steep hill so you will need to taxi to and from unless you want to walk up the hill, which isn’t the easiest. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
The property is beautiful, view has to be the best in San Ignacio and staff were great. We reserved a cabana which was spacious and secluded. The cabanas do have a palapa top, letting in a small amount of mosquitos, debris and noise if you have extra loud neighbors. I would recommend walking/taking a taxi into town for most meals, but we had one breakfast and two dinners at the resort, out of convivence, which did not disappoint. Would 100% recommend and visit again.

Our cabana was down the side of a hill...if u have any mobility issues... you'd better check where your room is...
Ceiling fan didn't work...and ac barely worked
At the beautiful pools there was an amazing waitress Wendy ..food was out of this world...and the waitress/bartender Sara was dynamic
This place was horrible. They overcharge me on items in the shopping store and buffet. They charge you me per plate for a buffet. They ignore me and my request several times. The place was racist and facilities was worn down. Toliet would not flush. I reported all of this to the staff supervisor. Nothing was done to rectify. Staff was super arrogant. Stay away from this place. The people kept staring at me and following me around as if they wanted to have potential reprisal for me reporting there evil ways. Never recieve and compensation from Expedia or the hotel.
The staff are friendly, willing to help and they are able to set up tours and taxis for you. We liked the restaurant in the resort and found it to be delicious. We also liked that the pool was opened late. They have a great bar, cafe and gift shop as well. We stayed in one of the Cabanas and there is a hammock so you can enjoy the spectacular view from the enclosed porch. We would definitely stay again.
Stayed in a cabana which was nice and the hammock was great. The curtains did not cover the full width of the window so not much privacy. The shower had a window in it and when standing in the shower the window was at chest height so people could definitely see me naked.
I put laundry in and my white top came back blue. When I went to say something the response was everything is washed together. No apology and no offer of anything to rectify the situation. Very poorly handled and overall really disappointing.
