We had a disappointing stay. Housekeeping was unresponsive — we had to repeatedly ask for basic services, like having the garbage taken out. On top of that, housekeeping placed an “in-room sign” on our door while we were out all day just to avoid cleaning our room. While the view from the hotel is fantastic, the beach isn’t swim-friendly, and unlike other hotels, they don’t seem to clean up the debris on the sand. This made walking along the beach almost impossible. The pool was another letdown — it was warm, murky, and had a constant foggy appearance due to poor maintenance. It definitely wasn’t up to standard. The hotel is small and they open up their tiny deck to the public every night, selling tickets and drinks. As a result, hotel guests have no real space to enjoy the facilities, even though you're paying a hotel fee to use the facility daily. On a positive note, the valet service is 24 hours, which is a huge convenience, but it comes at a cost of $30 per night. It’s pricey, but I suppose that’s just the reality in the Caribbean. The restaurant, unfortunately, lacked true flavor, and for a Caribbean island, it felt surprisingly un-fresh. I didn’t see much in terms of local fruits or authentic ingredients, which made me wonder if Puerto Rico was in some sort of crisis.

Honestly, the only thing good here is the views from my room. The bartenders ignored us while at the pool. The rooms were not clean on a daily base housekeeping leaves before five. the sheets and towels had stains on them not option on the food menu

Fun Vibe but Some Drawbacks

This hotel definitely has a fun, party atmosphere and a great location. However, a few things held it back from being a perfect stay. The beach here isn’t swimmable—which was a big downside for me—and the pool, while cute, is small with limited lounge chairs. Also, the tile around the pool is extremely slippery. I’m honestly surprised no one has taken a fall. The rooms are nice but on the smaller side. My friend’s TV was actually hung crooked, which felt a bit careless. There’s also barely any counter space in the bathroom for makeup or hair stuff, which made getting ready a bit tricky. One weird moment: the day before, we bought a bucket of beer at the pool. When we brought back the unfinished beers the next day and asked for fresh ice, they refused. It made us feel like we were trying to sneak in outside drinks—not exactly the elevated experience I expected. All that said, I would come back—but I might explore options in Isla Verde next time, where the ocean is actually swimmable and stunning.
