Air conditioner work about half and no laundry service.

The breakfast was very good 👍👍. There is a large mowed yard out front to walk the 4 legged members of the family. The area is very quiet with a Marathon fuel mart across the street. There is a new Burger King adjacent to the Marathon station. We ordered our supper from the Burger King and they delivered it promptly.

Nice hotel on the outskirts of town near I-64. Several restaurants nearby. The hotel has a large fitness area and indoor pool plus an outdoor patio area with fire pits.

Arrived late left early but it was quiet and clean I like the wood floor no carpet and breakfast good

Staff was very friendly. Room was clean but had a dank smell. Surrounding guests were quite loud and unruly throughout all hours of the day and night.

I made my reservation online and provided a credit card to hold the room, but when I checked in, I clearly told the front desk associate that I wanted to pay in cash at checkout. She was very kind and assured me she would note it in my reservation and that paying cash in the morning would not be an issue. Unfortunately, my experience the next morning was completely different. The front desk clerk on duty was immediately rude and dismissive. When I explained that I wanted to pay in cash, she told me that the payment had already been processed overnight and that there was nothing she could do. I calmly explained the conversation I had the night before, but she refused to help and would not even contact a manager, stating it was Saturday and she wouldn’t call anyone. I remained respectful throughout the interaction and stepped outside to contact corporate and file a formal complaint. Before leaving, I decided to give it one more try. When I went back inside, there was a manager present. She was professional and helpful, processed a refund to my credit card, and allowed me to pay in cash as originally requested. However, the initial employee continued to be unprofessional and even told me I should have handled it the night before—which I had attempted to do—and then went as far as telling me not to return or stay at this hotel again.
