Really wanted to like this hotel, as it was the final night of my month long holiday. Unfortunately the experience wasn't great. While the staff was very eager to assist at check in, ultimately there were gaps in service. 1. someone asked for our passports, which we thought was to help speed up our check in. Unfortunately, it was to "check" for status, which we didn't have. So passports handed over but zero action. 2. Upon reaching the counter after a 10-15 min wait, the first question we got was whether we waited in line..... Not sure if the counter staff was being racist since we were the only Chinese there, but he had a lot of colleagues standing around the waiting area, "assisting" guests. Couldn't he have checked in with them on who is the next in line? BTW, we were specifically told to queue at his counter. 3. At check in, the same gentleman mentioned that our room included breakfast. Having booked the room, I was semi sure that I didn't book breakfast, and asked to confirm that it included breakfast, which the staff said yes. We happily went away thinking that it was a pleasant thing to have forgotten. Woke up early the next day to grab some breakfast before our flight. Turns out, my memory didn't fail me and our room did not include breakfast. Wasn't the best way to end a otherwise great trip.. Room was fine, granted a bit dated. Lift buttons weren't responsive and gym was sad in the basement.

Lovely place staff were lovely couple of small things not working correctly but overall a really nice stay in Barcelona hotel close to airport just 21 euros for taxi but metro across road from hotel aswell so perfect if you get chance go to Somnia cocktail and magic bloody brilliant

Power went out without notice. Elevators (I was on high floor) not working (dangerous), no phone,s no running water, no lights. No explanation or apology from management. Had to carry luggage down 23 stories using outside emergency stairwell. Horrible. Will never stay here again and would strongly recommend others to be aware of irresponsible management. This could have been a disaster and dangerous.

The check in was a bit bumpy due to a power outage the night we arrived. They set us up in room from an apartment next door. To make up for the inconvenience, we were provided for a free breakfast the next morning which was wonderful. Great food and service. The rooms were nice, clean and veery comfortable. Check in went great and room looked okay with limited counter space in the bathroom. Towels were left on the small counter leaving no space to put personal items. Upon our returned from dinner, there was a blackout in the hotel. It was confirmed by the staff that no electricity was going to be available until 6:00 am as this was scheduled. I would have looked for an alternate option if we were informed upon check in; needless to say it was upsetting as we were not adviced in advanced. Upon getting to our room, there was no water due to the blackout and of course no air conditioning. We were told that all services were down due to the blackout. We were provided 4 bottles of water in the meantime. Couldn’t charge my mother’s hearing aids, and other items. Services did not returned until 7:15 am and woke up to a leak in the bathroom coming from the ceiling. Staff were very apologetic. We asked for a manager but told us he/she wasn’t available. We checked out very disappointed from the facility. DO NOT STAY THERE
