Nicely furnished but some issues

The apartment was nicely decorated and furnished. However, there were mice that ate some of our food. When we told the management, they did send someone right away to put traps out. We also reported a midlew show curtain, which they said they would change; but did not before we left. We were not offered any discounts for these issues. The location is good but walking to and from the Plaza is challenging because of the elevation..

We love Fort Marcy. This was our second time staying. My biggest issue was with the particular unit we ended up with. 1st off, it was supposed to sleep 6 people but only had two queen size beds. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The mattresses were full of lumps and dips. In one of the rooms, the window would not close properly, it was hard to sleep due to outside noise.The unit definitely needs some updates.

I liked the layout of the 1 bedroom condo. Furniture was nice. You could lay in bed with the barn doors open and watch tv from bed. The bed was creaky- sounded like it was going to break getting in/out. One of the sinks in the bathroom would not drain and the other the handle was loose. I would stay there again. Very pretty setting of the condos. Staff very nice.

Wasn't able to turn on the downstairs AC. TV wasn't setup properly upon check in. Refrigerator wasn't very cold. Called the front desk, and did not not have any other room for us to switch to, very disappointed!

The bed was super hard. Sleep was hard to come by and the aches and pains from the bed were plentiful. In addition, there was no headboard, so the pillows kept falling between the bed and the wall. The couch slanted to the middle and the cushions were horrible. The location was great.

We arrived after 6pm. We didn't know how to check on late after hours. The phone numbers they provided didn't even work. No one called me back or responded back. I left messages and call back number. We had to book some where else that evening. I want my money back since we couldn't even stay there or get checked in properly. I'm very disappointed.

Disappointing

Our stay at Fort Marcy was disappointing this year. We felt that while the location was convenient, the room / condo, was overpriced for the quality that was offered. The rooms and the bathrooms were small and outdated with furniture that felt more budget than boutique. We stayed at this property before in a two bedroom unit and it was nice, however this time we needed an additional bedroom and decided to select this three bedroom unit. Not all units are in the same conditions, some have been recently renovated and updated. This three bedroom unit was nothing like the other unit we stayed before. The pictures that we looked at when we booked our stay were not pictures of the actual unit, that was deceiving. Overall we were disappointed.
