Had to be moved from one room to the next because the original room I was put in was filthy. 2nd room ended up having stained bedding like the first one. I received form of compensation for all of the problems.

There was a group of us that stayed at the hotel for my son's graduation from Skidmore College & none of us received room service during our stay. No fresh towels, no bed making, no toilet tissue. In my room we barely had enough toilet tissue to last us from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning. It was pretty clear whatever toilet tissue we had was left over from the previous guest! The TV, Wifi cable svc went out Friday night & the man at the front desk was dismissive. It was a very big sports night for New Yorkers - Knicks, Yankees & Mets were playing that night. In addition to the no TV svc the channels on the TV did not match up to the guide. It was just scrambled. This stay was $700 for 2 nights, extremely expensive for the stay we experienced, breakfast wasn't even included.

Mini Vacation in Saratoga

The hotel was close to the state park, which is nice for an afternoon walk. The check in was fast and easy. The room was nice and spacious. I was happy to fing out there was a microwave and mini refrigerator in my hotel room. After a long day exploring Saratoga I was exhausted. So coming back to a quite hotel was nice. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

For the amount of money I paid I was not impressed by the hotel. The food was not good we ordered. There was no fan in the bath room. Breakfast was not included for the amount of money. Then they want to charge 14.99 for cold food! I’d really like my money back.

When we first arrived the gentleman who received us was very nice. I got two rooms, one for myself & daughter, another for my 83 year old Aunt. Unfortunately my aunt couldn’t sleep because she was too cold at night. She said a draft was coming through the closed window, along with tons of water. She would have called the front desk, but her room did not have a phone. There was water all over the floor/carpet. When we told the man at the desk the following morning he was extremely rude and seemed annoyed at our complaint.

Wonderful stay! The staff were friendly, especially Rebecca who served at breakfast. Such a kind soul! The rooms were clean, beds comfy. The decor was a little dated and a bit of peeling paint above the shower but overall very nice hotel. Reasonably priced and convenient location!

A bit down at the heels

The hotel doesn't seem to have been updated on quite awhile and was a bit tired. The beds were comfortable enough. The place has a an old oily food smell as soon as you enter and never seems to go away. The TV has no smart connectivity or a digital menu and is slow to change channels.
