Facility showed signs of wear & tear. Biggest issue was we reserved this trip through Expedia and then had to add an additional night. I did this through the hotel front desk over the phone but upon checking out found that the extra night was charged to my Expedia Reservation and the hotel charged me separately for the extra night. The Marriott has not returned our calls concerning the billing issue, I will be contacting Expedia and will also try again to talk with the Marriott. Great location and within walking distance to most attractions along the river walk.

The concierge was great otherwise their attitude wasn’t great, no coffee or breakfast barely any tv and the window shade was broken so the light from the tacky lobby was seen all night. $40 for parking, really? It’s not NY!

Everything to do with the hotel was great. My problem is that Hotels.com misrepresented the room I booked. My wife and I wanted a room with a king bed and a balcony…. and that is what I booked on Hotels.com. When we checked in, there was NO BALCONY! The front desk pulled up the confirmation that was sent to them from Hotels.com and it only showed a booking for a room with a king bed. Even though I had screenshots to prove what I booked, it didn’t matter because that was not what Hotels.com sent. We were told that we are not the first people that this has happened too and was told not to use third party booking sites because they lie and misrepresent the room listings.

The Marriott Savannah Riverfront was a perfect stay, no complaints there. But we had issues when booking a Room with a Riverfront view. When booking the room we paid for a river front room and when we arrived at the front desk the Marriott stated there was not a riverfront room available. They blamed the error on the third party booking, and gave us another room that looked over the roof top at all the air condition units. We were very disappointed. It was very quiet at the hotel that day, so we walked down the River front walkway in front of the Marriott and noticed that there was a lot of Riverfront rooms available. The Marriott front desk lied.

At the Marriott Savannah Riverfront the breakfast was not free but it was delicious and good options. The room was clean. The staff was very friendly. We did not go to the bar. But did do the coffee bar in the morning. It was great. The hotel was beautiful.

Fun hotel and kid friendly. Rooms are a little outdated, but fairly clean. TV's are in need of updating. Male that checked us in was not very friendly and probably should not have been the first person you meet at the hotel.
