This hotel/motel was TERRIBLE, so bad that we didn't stay the night. It is run down beyond belief. The room doors open to the parking lot, which has a transient population walking around. Empty mini bottles on the property, dirty door, run down vanity, etc. DO NOT BOOK! The worst part? It's more expensive than other VERY NICE hotels close by. Total scam.

This place really needs an update. Even the front office looks rundown. The staff was friendly for the most part. Our room looked really rundown. The caulking around the tub looked terrible and the bathroom fan didn't work. The carpet looked like it could have been replaced 20yrs ago. There was hair in sheets and the room had an off smell. Location was great, but for that price I was expecting more.

We got what we paid for & that is all we needed.It appears to be an older property but the room was spotless, it is centrally located to walk everywhere & the best part was the staff, what a great group of ladies. Parking onsite was an affordable $20. For an overnight trip, it seemed ridiculous to pay more than double the price at the hotel across the street & I am glad we didn’t.

It was not that great- the breakfast did not have pancake mix for pancakes.. The door to the hotel room was heavy to push open to get in and out of room 133. room had patches on wall that needed painting. Curtains where old and not fitted to window. Parking was ridiculous and cramped then when I checked in I had to pay $25.00 to park.

I forgot something in my room. I called the front desk and she said she’s going to ask the manager and call me back. After a day waiting, no call back. I call them again the next day and was told that housekeeper didn’t report an item found. I swear I left that beach chair by the tv and the housekeeper didn’t put it in lost and found.

Pulling up to the building, it was filthy. Yhe front desk clerk had an attitude and the room carpet had so many stains I lost count and parking was $25 daily. The rate was way overpriced. Do yourself a favor, run!!! There was nothing Quality about this Inn.

I’ll start with the good, location. This hotel is perfectly located to walk to all the attractions, the river and shops. This property is in desperate need of a make over. The carpet in our room was very disgusting and stained and furniture was very old and banged up. The bed was comfortable and the sheets and towels were pristine white. The staff were all very nice and helpful.

The lady at the front desk was so patient and kind. She made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. She even brought our cup we left in the lobby to our room. She went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed. I wish I remembered her name! Perfect location!

The room did not look like the photos on the website. Our room was smaller. It was cramped. The room needs to be updated/repainted… rusty spots on bathroom door….while someone was sitting at the desk, there wasn’t enough room to walk around to get to the bathroom. … Good thing is the location— the location is wonderful. It is in the historical district. Easy walk to restaurants, shops and trolley pick-up.

The staff who greeted us upon our check-in on Sunday were very friendly. However, the lady overseeing breakfast and checkout on Monday wasn't the friendliest. The breakfast options were quite limited; the choices did not resemble what was shown in the pictures in their advertisements. The outside of the hotel looked pretty run-down and in need of some TLC. At least the door latches to the rooms had previously been reinforced for safety. Our room had a musty smell coming from the A/C, and the bathroom smelled like a dirty mop. While we understand that we get what we pay for, I chose this hotel for the price, location, and also because of the "photos" that made it seem like a nice, clean place to stay. However, I now suspect that many of the photos were stock images. That said, it did serve its purpose of giving us a place to sleep. The beds were comfortable, it was pretty quiet, and the staff on Sunday afternoon were very professional and friendly.
