I've stayed here before. This time the shower was extremely small and the door wouldn't seal, so the bathroom floor was a lake. Maybe thats why there was a floor drain in the middle of the bathroom floor. Just an ok room despite over $500/night. At that price, not worth it. I won't return unless the rate drops considerably.

I liked the location because I was able to walk to some restaurants. I didn't like the bar/restaurant, the prices were outrageous, unfortunately, I didn't realize it until I ordered a drink (double-shot), and what I thought were French fries, and got a bill for $54!!! I also didn't like going to the basement for ice and the vending machines.

The room was very clean. Bed firm but comfy. Very Nice pillows. Shower water well heated. Our room on 2nd floor had generators outside the window (so no view) but the windows kept the sound to a gentle hum. This was actually better than street noise. Coffee & tea in lobby both excellent. Compliments on the selection of Bigelow English Breakfast tea!!

Quiet hotel, comfortable rooms

This was a good hotel and location for the area we wanted to be in. The hotel was quiet, and the room was comfortable. It was on the smaller side, but that's to be expected in NYC. Staff was friendly. I would stay again if I needed to be in this part of the city.
