Beautiful property, wonderful food, and a kind staff. Be careful to ask for a room with a view. Our first room was in an attic with no view. For an upgrade fee, they were able to give us the amazing view we wanted in a different room.

I could hear people outside my room in the corridors very clearly (poor sound insulation.). Food in the restaurant was not high quality. I asked where the public transportation (bus stop) was located and received a rude response. Cannot recommend this hotel.

Amazing views bad staff

It's an old hotel. off center need car for everything. the views are amazing it compassed the other disadvantages. The staff is grumpy and unfriendly, they probably needs reminder who is the customer, especially the restaurant manger, very aggressive.

Photos online look old. They are renovated and clean in person. Located in beautiful grass field with Alps, the hotel has everything you need. I’m glad I found this hotel over others in the main town.

This is a pleasing new, or renovated, property with a friendly staff at reception, a good housekeeper, an excellent breakfast, and located in beautiful surroundings. It was about 15 minutes, by bus, to the Berchtesgaden central train station, in one direction and about 15 minutes, by bus, to Konigsee. It took awhile to understand the bus schedules.

Wonderful Bavarian countryside retreat.

Wonderful location in the Bavarian countryside. The hotel staff were very friendly, food was great, and our stay was fantastic. Nothing like waking up to cowbells ringing as the local cows are all outfitted with cowbells. We definitely plan on returning in the future.

Friendly staff but overpriced rooms.

Lady at the front desk was AMAZING and so helpful, she really made the effort to make sure we had a wonderful stay. The rooms and breakfast were ok. Comfortable beds but they don’t use mattress protectors so stains showed through the sheets which was not ok. There was also dog hair on the blankets in the wardrobe and when we asked for them to be cleaned they didn’t bring them back again. Overpriced and I probably wouldn’t stay here again. If it wasn’t for the lovely lady at the front desk I think we would have had a worse time!

Loved the mountain view! Hates that there is no ventilation or movement of air in the room, had to open the back door at night. No air conditioning, and the pillows were so soft you could almost classify them as a sheet
