The hotel is nice inside but in a terrible neighborhood. The homeless population is overrunning the area and extremely loud at night, even from the higher floors. The bartender is super rude and each time I stepped outside the doors I felt unsafe.

I loved this place! Super comfortable bed. Tall ceilings, great atmosphere. Very attentive staff. My room was spacious with a wonderful soaking tub. Easy walk to Pike Place. I'm a 73 year old solo traveler and I never felt unsafe walking around town, even at night.

It was wonderful from the beginning at check-in! The staff was so welcoming, informative and felt like a genuine welcome. The rooms were clean, big, and comfortable. The elevator was quick and quiet. The breakfast was wonderful & in a nice restaurant setting downstairs!

We are happy to have found such a gem in the heart of Seattle. Easy walking to water front and venues, the hotel is beautiful and dining is great & convenient. Great location for a good price. There is the typical downtown nuances, but if you’re looking to stay in that area, we couldn’t have been happier!

It was nice!

The staff really makes this place stand out! Very pleasant and calm even though they might be crazy busy. The location really worked out for us. We walked to baseball stadium to cheer the visiting team. We walked to space needle and pikes place. The breakfast options were very good too. The room size was just right; the bed and pillows comfy. The robes were a welcoming surprise. The valet parking fee might be considered to be pricey but we were prepared. We were just happy to find a property that offered parking. After 3 days we were off to explore other cities!

Once a “Gentleman’s Club”, this property is gorgeous! The architecture and period pieces are stunning! This is a must and if we return to Seattle, we will stay here!!! Cannot say enough positive things about The Arctic!!!

i had a rough start. do not park here if you have a toyota tacoma or bigger. they can not accommodate you if they are busy and they wont tell you ahead of time. I also encountered one bad phone experience and was hung up on and the gal was rude when taking my card
