Location was convenient for attending a conference at the Seattle Convention Center. It was also 1 block away from the G bus line, so it was easy to get other places around the city. The place itself, was obviously old and slightly run down. A good home base if you aren't going to spend much time in the room. Fire alarm went off multiple times because of showers and my key card had to be reset every day.

The property is not the problem, the real problem is that you need to use parking lot (public) and is unsafe, just woke up with a broken window.

Had a WONDERFUL affordable stay last night. Front desk was kind and great and told me to return the next night if I was still looking. The culinary director and another manager even introduced themselves when I was departing, thanking me. It was such great customer service! I did return. However, this time I was met with being denied a room based on havihg a 'Seattle address'. 'It's the policy' the manager on duty of the evening or 4/30/25 said. I asked, how can that be? I paid last night, have the same ID, and was told to return. I pressed him on the policy, pretty certain this 'policy' was created on the fly, based on my having a couple duffel bags and sharing I was between housing. Finally, the explanation the manager on duty gives is 'Locals Mean Trouble.' Wow. Stunning display of denying someone access due to deragatory assesment as someone without housing as 'Trouble'. Sure didn't mind my money the previous night. Absolutely reprehensible treatment This is not how you treat ‘locals,’ housed or otherwise.

Older building without air conditioning is a notable concern. Small elevator. Room was surprisingly comfortable though and location convenient to hospitals and food nearby. Quick check in. I would stay again.

Highly Recommend, Direct Access to VMMC

My stay was while my son who resides in Alaska was in Virginia Mason Medical Clinic. The Inn is conveniently located with direct access to VMMC. The rooms are well appointed, clean and extremely comfortable. Because of our extended stay we had the pleasure of staying in one of the two top floor rooms. Once my husband returned home I continued to stay and felt very safe staying there alone. When my son improved his release date kept changing and the Inn was very accommodating on a daily update.
